Get Connected
RUF is about having a heart for God and wisdom for life. The gospel is not just about warm personal feelings or intense worship experiences but rather knowing God and being equipped for all of life. Faith is real when it makes a difference in our relationships, in our work, and in our play. RUF is convinced that God's Word and his church are essential in this process. We think that the church should be as broad as the gospel; therefore, students from every walk of life, every nation, and every point on the journey are welcome. We are here for the "convinced" and the "unconvinced." Whatever your background, we would like to invite you to visit with us, ask questions, and build relationships with other students.

Visit the Large Group Meetings
RUF Large Group is our "shop front" activity and usually the easiest way for students to "plug into" the ministry. This usually consists of a time of singing and worship ending with a message from Scripture, all in a non-threatening atmosphere. This is usually the place where you can find out all that is going on within the ministry of RUF. Contact the minister for your campus to find out details on meeting times and locations.
Join a Small Group Bible Study
In any given semester, students participate in several small group Bible studies covering all kinds of topics. These small group studies are very informal in design and give you and other students the chance to look deeper into a topic as well as make a few friends in the process.
Schedule a One-on-One Meeting
RUF's commitment to reaching and equipping students means that campus ministers, staff, and interns see one-on-one meetings with students as a vital part of our ministry. This time is usually spent getting to know each other personally, investing in on-going discipleship, dealing with personal issues with which you may struggle, and addressing any crisis issues that might arise during your time at school.
Attend a Conference
At least a few times during the year, RUF is committed to getting out of town and gathering with other Christians for student conferences. Fall, Winter, and Summer conferences are all great opportunities to get involved with RUF's ministry. These trips often will include mission trips.
Join a Local Church
The Scriptures never call us to the "solitary" Christian life; rather, we are to be active, living members of the body of Christ-the Church. The visible church isn't perfect, but she belongs to Christ. She is His beloved bride, His precious jewel (Eph 5:21-33). And if He loves her enough to wash her, sanctify her, and protect her, we should seek to love her too. For this reason, RUF encourages all students not to neglect the church during their college years. This is the place where Christians are equipped for service in God's kingdom (Eph 4:11-12). Even skeptics can find the answers they seek as the church does its work (1 Cor 14:24-25). RUF can help you find a good church home while away from home. Talk to your campus minister for more information.
