Alabama A&M

Roy grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana where he was one of 5 children. From there he attended Louisiana State University where he earned a degree in Elementary Education. While at LSU, he was involved with RUF and was a member of South Baton Rouge Presbyterian (PCA). In July of 2005, he began the Masters of Divinity degree at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson and finished in May of 2008. While in seminary, Roy married Emily Chapman of Starkville, Mississippi in March of 2007. They have one daughter, Iris, and a son, Jonas.

Anderson University

Campus Minister Bio: John Boyte is a graduate of Clemson University where he earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering (1987). He has had sixteen hours of graduate course work in Recreation Administration also from Clemson University. John has worked with youth as a lay minister directing and teaching the Junior High Youth at Peoples Bible Church in Greenville, SC (1988-1992) and the Senior High at the Evangelical Church of Bangkok in Bangkok, Thailand (1992-1993). He was involved with teaching Sunday School and assisting with the youth at New Covenant before joining the staff in 1996. He finished the MDiv at Erskine Seminary and is ordained as a Teaching Elder in the PCA Church. He married his wife, Cheryl in 1987. They have three children, J.J., Casey, and Caleb. John served as Associate Pastor of New Covenant Church for twelve years and has been the RUF Campus Minister at Anderson University for tweleve years where since January 2008 he has served full time.

Appalachian State University

Matt Howell is a graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC. He grew up in Dallas, TX and graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2003 where he studied Philosophy and Communication. After graduation, Matt served as an intern with RUF at Louisiana State University for two years where he developed a heart for college students. It was during his internship that he met and married the RUF intern at Emory University, Kathryn, who hails from Memphis, TN and studied Religious Studies at Washington and Lee. After his stay in Bayou Country and following their wedding, Matt and Kathryn Howell moved to Charlotte for seminary. He loves to read, listen to and make music, play basketball, and win at board games.

Arizona State

Jason (from Houston, TX) and Tiffany (from Gridley, CA) met and married in Phoenix near the turn of the century at Grand Canyon University. Just over a decade later, they are happy to be back in the Valley of the Sun and excited to work with RUF at ASU. Jason completed his M.Div at Westminster Theological Seminary in Dallas (now Redeemer Seminary) while simultaneously working at the school. Tiffany is the greatest chef in the universe and a stay at home mom for the 4 rambunctious Bobo children: Cason, Justus, Shaylee, and Garrison.

Auburn University

Campus Minister Bio:
Richard and Amy with children Thompson, Betsy, and Paul have worked with RUF at Auburn since 2001.  As former students and interns with RUF, Richard and Amy enjoy sharing the love of Christ through a ministry that God has used in their lives.  Whether preaching and leading, talking over a cup of coffee, or playing football or cheerleader in the front yard with their "college friends", the Vise family knows what a privilege it is to serve Christ in this way.

Baylor University

Campus Minister Bio:
Shaynor was born and grew up in Dallas, TX, and then attended Baylor University where he earned a B.S. in Biology.  After five years as a Residence Hall Director at Baylor he went on to attend Truett Theological Seminary.  He married Heather Crosslin, also a Baylor grad, in 1994, and they have a son, Jonathan and a daughter, Violet.

Belhaven University

Chad and Kelly have been married for 8 years and have three beautiful children: Wyatt, Raney, and Holden.  They both grew up in Mississippi where Chad attended Belhaven University and Kelly attended Mississippi College.  Having met and been established in Mississippi, they attended RTS in Jackson. They began in RUF at Hinds Community College from '08-'11 and are now serving the campus and community and Belhaven University.

Belmont University

Campus Minister Bio:

Kevin, a graduate Berklee College of Music (1986) and Covenant Theological Seminary (1995), began work at Belmont in 1995 after a career in the music industry. His work with RUF led to the creation of "Indelible Grace Music" (www.igracemusic.com) which has produced a number of CDs of old hymns set to new music. Kevin is married to Wendy and they have three children, Cooper, Isaac, and Amelia (whom they adopted from China in 2005.) He enjoys music, disc golf, and collecting old books.

Birmingham Southern College

Campus Minister Bio:
Tom is the RUF Campus Minister at Birmingham Southern College.  He is husband to Kristin Forney Franklin who graduated from the University of Alabama and works for the American Cancer Society.   Tom and Kristin were married in 2006. Tom graduated from BSC in 1999 and went on to work in the Admission Office at BSC after graduation. While in college he was a member of the baseball team, part of the esteemed Residence Life staff, and between school and work was on campus for seven years. He then went to seminary at Covenant Theological Seminary, and graduated with a Masters of Divinity (M.Div.) in May of 2005. Their interests include: their dog Chelsea, travelling, to the beach, UNO, BSC baseball, Alabama football, Texas Longhorn football, cooking, golf, and American Idol.

Bloomington Church Plant

Dan and Erica grew up in Champaign, IL and met in high school. They both came to Christ in 1997 while undergrads—Dan at Illinois State University and Erica at the University of Illinois. In 2000 they graduated, were married, and moved to St. Louis where Dan taught high school history among at risk students and Erica completed her Master’s in Physical Therapy from Washington University, where she will complete her doctorate in 2012. In 2002 Dan joined staff with Great Commission Ministries and served as a GCM campus minister at the University of Illinois until beginning at Covenant Seminary in 2007 where they joined the congregation of Kirk of the Hills PCA. The Herrons are currently in Indianapolis where Dan is completing a church planting apprenticeship with the Central Indiana Presbytery at Redeemer PCA while preparing to begin a call as a PCA church planter to Bloomington in the Fall of 2012 alongside an RUF campus minister. Dan and Erica love cooking, cycling, running, rooting for the Fighting Illini, and loving on their three beautiful children: Alex, Gabriel, and Isabel.

Boise State University

Brian and Gail are natives of Georgia and Tennessee, respectively, and are graduates of the University of Georgia, where they met through their involvement with RUF and the local church (and through playing lots of Frisbee).  After college (and a year of carpentry work for Brian), they got married and served as interns with RUF at the University of Missouri for a couple of years, and then moved to Philadelphia, where Brian earned a Masters of Divinity from Westminster Theological Seminary.

Brian and Gail love outdoor recreation – especially hiking, biking, canoeing, and Frisbee – and their favorite things to do in Boise include walking in the foothills, biking on the Greenbelt, floating the river, and watching games on the ‘Smurf Turf.’

Brown University

Campus Minister Bio:

Eddie graduated with his MDiv and ThM from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, in May 2006. During his time in seminary, he served in RUFBrown as a seminarian staff, where he courted Annie, who was also an intern in RUFBrown. Annie and he were married on May 4, 2007. Eddie was ordained in November 2007, to be campus minister at RUFBrown.  RUF Brown serves students at Brown, the Rhode Island School of Design, and other Providence area schools.

Carson-Newman College

An alumni of Carson-Newman College, he graduated in 2002. After serving in the College Ministry at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church in Knoxville, he went on to Reformed Theological Seminary - Orlando, graduating in 2006. He served as an Assistant Pastor at Second Presbyterian Church in Memphis, TN for some years before accepting the call to start an RUF at Carson-Newman. Wes is an avid hunter and fisherman - and he loves the outdoors of East Tennessee.

Wes married his wife Nancy in 2003. She graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2003, is from Chattanooga, and is a great cook! Wes and Nancy have a two beautiful little girls, Emily Anne, who was born in September 2008 and Katherine Grace who was born in May 2011.

Christopher Newport University

Dave was born in Charleston, SC but grew up in Greenwood, SC. While attending Presbyterian College (home of the mighty Blue Hose), he met his wife Rebecca at Camp Greystone in Tuxedo, NC. Rebecca, a graduate of Ole Miss, could not resist Dave's southern charm and agreed to marry him in October of 2003. After a few years of full time work at Greystone, Dave and Rebecca moved to Charlotte, NC to attend Reformed Theological Seminary where Dave received his Masters of Divinity. In the summer of 2010 RUF hired Dave to serve as the campus minister at CNU which brought great joy to Dave's heart. Dave and Rebecca have a 2 year old son named Stokes, an over-sized dog and an under-sized cat. Dave enjoys playing golf (with clubs or frisbees), camping, fishing, and writing about himself in third person.

City Campus Ministry (New York City)

After graduating from Vanderbilt University and working in both London and New York, Michael attended Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary where he received an M.Div and a Th.M in Apologetics. During his five years in Boston, Michael served at Citylife Presbyterian Church as an Assistant Pastor in charge of both Community Life and the School of Christian Formation. He has been happily married to his wife for eight years. She will tell you she is better at basketball then her husband, and she is probably right.

Clemson University

Campus Minister Bio:
Stephen was born in Camden, SC, and after graduating from Clemson University in 1993 and from Covenant Seminary in 1998, has served with RUF at Clemson.  Stephen and his wife, Rebekah, have three children--Kathryn, Connor, and Paul.

Clemson University - RUFI

Rick Brawner graduated from ClemsonUniversity. After Rick graduated from seminary, he worked five years in campus ministry at the University of Michigan and EasternMichiganUniversity. In 1989, he returned to his home state of South Carolina to begin the RUF International ministry at ClemsonUniversity.  Rick has served 20 years with RUF International.  Rick met his wife Beth while in seminary. They have three children, Andrew, Philip and Melody. Rick reaches and equips international students through evangelism, Bible study, discipleship, and fellowship in the local PCA church. 

College of Charleston (CofC)

Campus Minister Bio:
The Clark family is absolutely thrilled to be working through RUF at the College of Charleston! Danny grew up in McLean, Virginia and went to James Madison University. There he studied Art History and Religion. There he also met his bride, Aspa Christodoulou (how's that for a last name?). Aspa was born and raised in Richmond, Virigina. Her background is Greek Orthodox and she became a believer in college. They have been married for seven years and have one son named Coleman. Danny recently graduated from Covenant Theological Seminary with a Master's Degree in Divinity. His main passions in life include studying the depth and breadth of Scripture, teaching others about redemptive history, playing, watching, and reading all things sports, not to mention exposing worldviews using culture and movies. Aspa enjoys novels, theology, and cooking for massive amounts of people. Coleman loves trains, digging holes, and telling non sequitur jokes.

College of William and Mary

Campus Minister Bio:
Ben grew up in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  He met Dawn working as a camp counselor in college, immediately fell madly in love with her and after much persistence persuaded her to be his wife.  After a few years in youth ministry they moved to St. Louis, MO to attend Covenant Theological Seminary where Ben received his Masters of Divinity.  In the summer of 2006 RUF hired Ben to serve as the campus minister at William & Mary much to Ben's delight.  Ben and Dawn have since added two to their family, Naomi and Benjamin.  Ben enjoys good music, good books, the great outdoors, good movies, some good TV shows, and most things cultural and pop cultural.  He does not typically write about himself in the third person, but has been known to do so on occasion.

Colorado State University

Campus Minister Bio:
Ryan is married to Emily and they have Grayson, Coleman, and Meredith.  The Bakers came to Colorado State in the fall of 2006 after graduating from Covenant Seminary in St. Louis. Ryan and Emily are originally from Edmond, Oklahoma and were high school sweet hearts and both graduated from the University of Oklahoma.  In the summer before their senior year Ryan and Emily were married and then after graduating in 1997 they went with Mission to the World to Japan where they served for one year. 

Covenant College

Campus Minister Bio:
Ron was born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.  He graduated from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania and Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi.  He and his wife Susan moved to Tallahassee, Florida in 1988 to start RUF at Florida State University.  In Tallahassee God blessed Ron and Susan with the birth of their son Chris and daughter Anna Shay.  In 1995 they moved to Crystal River, Florida where Ron was called as the Pastor of Discipleship and Education at Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church.  In 2002 the Brown family moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee where Ron was installed as the Pastor of Education and Discipleship at First Presbyterian Church of Chattanooga.  In 2006 Ron became Campus Minster for RUF at Covenant College.  

Davidson College

Campus Minister Bio:
David Speakman is the campus minister for RUF at Davidson College.  He is a graduate of Davidson College, class of 1996.  After teaching Latin and coaching wrestling and tennis in Nashville for three years, David entered Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO, where he earned a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and has completed his course work for a Master of Theology (Th.M.).  Upon his ordination in the Presbyterian Church in America in the spring of 2003, David, his wife, Margaret Ann, returned to Davidson College to begin this work of RUF on campus.  David and Margaret Ann have three children, Mary Gray, Samuel and Lewis.

Delta State University

Campus Minister Bio:
Seth is originally from Senatobia, MS. After attending Mississippi State University, he began seminary at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS. Seth is married to Julie and they have 2 sons, John Everette and James.

Duke University

Campus Minister Bio:
Will is originally from Ann Arbor, MI and graduated from Duke University in 1997. After graduating from Westminster Theological Seminary (Philadelphia) in 2003, Will began working with RUF and in 2005 returned to his Alma Mater to start a new RUF chapter. Will lives in Durham, NC with his wife, Megan and three sons, Liam, Elliott, and Henry.

East Tennessee State University

Chad grew up in Memphis, TN and graduated from the University of Tennessee (Knoxville) in 2000 with a degree in History.  He also got married that year to Jennifer, whom he met through RUF at UTK.  Chad worked in small business and then served on staff of two local churches before graduating from RTS-Jackson in 2007 with a Master of Divinity.  He loves serving in RUF, a ministry that was huge in his and Jennifer's lives!  Chad and Jennifer have 3 precious children: Amelia, Benjamin and Elliott.

Emory University

Campus Minister Bio:

2009-2010 marks Hunter's fourth year as the campus minister at RUF Emory. Prior to serving with RUF, Hunter earned his PhD from the University of Edniburgh, while also working with Mission to the World (MTW) in Scotland. Hunter married his high school sweetheart, Abbie, in December of 1996. Hunter and Abbie are both originally from Little Rock, Arkansas. The Baileys have two children, Hutch (7) and Nola (5), who absolutely love it when RUF Emory students come to the Bailey house to jump on the trampoline with them.

Florida State University

Campus Minister Bio:
David began working with RUF as the campus minister at Florida State University in the summer of 2004.  He and his wife, Karen, are both graduates of FSU and love the opportunity to continue the ministry of the gospel at their alma mater.  They also delight in their two daughters, Daphne and Alice.  David received his Masters of Divinity degree from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia.

Furman University

Campus Minister Bio:
Tim is a native of Memphis, TN, and a graduate of the University of Tennessee and Reformed Theological Seminary.  He is married to Rosie, originally from Pennsylvania, and they have three children, Ellie (6/03) and Sam (6/05), and Jillian (6/08).

Georgia Southern University

Ro was born and raised in Jackson, MS, and graduated from Mississippi State University in 2005. After graduation, Ro worked for three years as a teacher and coach at a high school in Charleston, SC. He then went to seminary, graduating from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson in 2011, where he worked with college students with RUF at Mississippi College. While in seminary, he met and married Anna Griffith (from Hattiesburg, MS) in July 2010.  Ro and Anna moved to Statesboro in 2011 where Ro is serving at  Georgia Southern as the RUF campus minister. They are enjoying life in the 'boro with their first son on his way in December!

Georgia Tech

Campus Minister Bio:
Aaron is a graduate of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI and Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA. Upon graduation, Aaron and his wife, Amy, started the ministry of RUF at the University of Iowa. They moved to Atlanta, GA in 2006 to start the ministry of RUF at Georgia Tech. Aaron and Amy married in 1999 and have two little girls: Payton, born in 2003, and Sarah, born in 2004.

Georgia Tech - RUFI

Alex is a University of Tennessee graduate and earned a Masters degree from Westminster Seminary. Alex has worked overseas in China and Africa. In addition to his campus work, Alex helps Atlanta churches welcome students from around the world. Alex and his wife Christina have one young daughter. They join RUF International in June, 2010.

Harvard University

Jeremy Mullen grew up in Virginia Beach, VA and graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2003 where he studied English Literature. He served for four years as a Naval Officer before attending Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He is married to Adrienne, whom he met through RUF at Vanderbilt.

Holmes Community College

Jackson State University

Campus Minister Bio:
Elbert is originally from Jackson, Mississippi. He left Jackson in order to attend college at Alabama A & M University (Huntsville, Alabama). He graduated from A & M with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. After working with General Electric Aircraft Engines (Cincinnati, Ohio) for four years, he married his wife Karen and they moved back to Jackson so that he could attend Reformed Theological Seminary. While in Jackson, he served as an intern at Redeemer Church for three years and during his final year of seminary he began laboring at Jackson State University to start RUF. He and Karen have one daughter, Karis, who was born in July of 2006.

Jacksonville University

Campus Minister Bio:
Tommy is the campus minister for RUF at UNF and the Jacksonville metro area. Tommy grew up in Orange Park, FL.  He graduated from Trinity College in New Port Richey, FL, with a B.A. in Biblical Studies. Tommy received his Master's of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL, in 2007. Tommy served at River Ridge Presbyterian Church in youth ministry eight years before moving to Jacksonville to minister to college students.  Tommy enjoys watching football, surfing, playing racquetball, all great movies, playing sports, and Starbucks coffee.  He is married to his wonderful and beautiful wife Nikki and has the coolest daughter Naphtili (Tili). 

Johns Hopkins University

Campus Minister Bio:
After graduating from college with a degree in art, Steven worked as an art director in the advertising industry for nearly four years. During his third year of advertising, his local pastor approached him and asked him to consider volunteering some time with several college students who were attending their local church. At the end of that year Steven was laid off from his job in advertising, and providentially began a new vocation ministering to college students with a parachurch ministry. For six years Steven served students in southcentral Pennsylvania before attending Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelpha. When he graduated from seminary, the Chesapeake Presbytery, PCA called him to minister to students at Towson University with RUF. After six years at Towson University, Steven launched a new RUF ministry at the Johns Hopkins University where he serves today. Steven and his family reside in Baltimore, MD.

Johnson and Wales University

Tyler Dirks was born in Dodge City, KS, and is a graduate of Kansas State University. While in college, Tyler was on staff with Young Life, where he worked as the manager of the high ropes course at Crooked Creek Ranch in Fraser Valley Colorado. There he met his wife Carrie (who is from South Carolina). Tyler graduated with his Masters of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC in May of 2007, and took a call to be the Campus Minister for RUF at Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, NC. Tyler and Carrie are the proud parents of Margaret Grace, Henry Lewis and Haven Katelin. Find out more on their blog.

Kennesaw State University

Campus Minister Bio:

Chris Bowen is a native of Chattanooga, TN and a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary. He moved to Kennesaw, GA in July of 2006 to start the ministry of RUF at Kennesaw State. In the spring of 2007, Chris met Jennifer Leck, which after a beautiful story of providence, grace, redemption, and forgiveness were wed on July 11, 2009. This year is his 6th year as the RUF campus minister at Kennesaw State University. They are excited to begin their life together by serving students in Kennesaw.

Lehigh University

Campus Minister Bio:
Scott Mitchell comes to Lehigh from Dallas, Texas, where Scott completed his MDiv from Westminster Theological Seminary (Texas Campus).  After graduating from Texas A&M University with a degree in civil engineering, Scott worked in private practice in Tyler, Texas, until September 2004 when he began to pursue God's calling him into vocational ministry.  While in seminary, Scott continued to work in civil engineering on a part-time basis.  Also during that time, Scott met his wife, Bonnie, in a small group through church, and the two were married in June 2007.  Scott is thrilled to merge his strong engineering background and seminary training to answer the Lord's call on his life in college ministry through RUF at Lehigh.

Louisiana State University (LSU)

Campus Minister Bio:
Josh was born and raised in Greenville, SC.  After attending the University of South Carolina - Spartanburg and Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, Josh accepted a call as RUF Campus Minister at Delta State University in May of 2001.  In June of 2008 he became the RUF Campus Minister at Louisiana State University.

Lynchburg (Liberty, Sweet Briar, Lynchburg College, Central Virginia Community College CVCC, Randolph College)

Campus Minister Bio:
Marc earned a ThM from Dallas Theological Seminary and shortly thereafter began serving as the RUF campus minister at Texas Tech for 7 years.  Now, Marc and Amy Corbett are excited about starting RUF in the city of Lynchburg, VA.   Marc loves home remodeling, reading, playing golf, ebay, coffee, discussing theology, hunting/fishing, and laughing with people. But, he and Amy are most excited about their brand new baby girl, Caroline, born in Feb. of '08!

RUF in Lynchburg serves serveral campuses in the region, including: Liberty, Sweet Briar, Lynchburg College, Central Virginia Community College, CVCC, and Randolph College.

Mercer University

Campus Minister Bio:
Chris "Buck" Rogers is a native of McRae, GA, and attended Mercer University from 1993-1997.  He became a Christian through the Mercer Reformed University Fellowship ministry in 1995.  After graduation, Buck has served as a youth minister, teacher and pastor for over 15 years.  He graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary in 2002 with a Masters of Divinity and was ordained as a PCA teaching elder in 2007.  Buck is married to his college sweetheart Rachel Brown.  They currently live in Macon with their three children, Eli, Rosie, and Sarabelle.

Michigan State

Shawn and Jami were married in 1996 and both grew up in Dallas, Texas. Shawn received a B.A. from Baylor University and a M.Div. from Westminster Seminary, Texas. Jami earned a B.S. in Christian Education from Dallas Baptist University. They are the proud parents of twin daughters Lydia and Naomi born May 2008 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and arrived home January 2009.

Middle Tennessee State University

Campus Minister Bio:
Paul was born and raised in the Atlanta Metro Area.  Paul graduated from Covenant Seminary with an MDIV in 2002 and then moved to Jacksonville, FL to start a new RUF. This is where he met Rachel and they were married soon after.  He and Rachel and their three boys Drew (5/9/04), Josh (6/21/06), and Jake (3/25/08) love being only 2 blocks from MTSU and are very involved in the community of the campus.

Millersville University

Campus Minister Bio:
Rob came to Millersville following his graduation from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, North Caroline.  He's married to Jenny and they have two children, Miram and Gus.  Rob and Jenny love living in Pennsylvania and enjoy exploring the countryside in their spare time.

Mississippi College

Campus Minister Bio:
Joey grew up in Anderson, South Carolina.  He attended high school in Chattanooga, Tennessee at McCallie.  From there he went to Macon, Georgia for college.  It was during his second year at Mercer University that he was converted by God's Spirit thanks, in large part, to Reformed University Fellowship.  After completing his BA he attended Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi, getting his Master's of Divinity. While at seminary Joey had the opportunity to begin a campus work at Mississippi College in nearby Clinton, MS.  While at RTS, Joey married Summer, and they now have three covenant children-Grady, Owen, and Murray.  Joey graduated from RTS in 2001 and was ordained as a teaching elder in the Presbyterian Church in America.  

Mississippi State University

Brian was born and raised in Jackson, MS, and attended Ole Miss
from ’99-’03. After graduation, Brian worked for two years with RUF as an
intern at Auburn.  He married Liza Thompson in the summer of 2005 and
moved to Jackson to attend Reformed Theological Seminary.  While in
seminary, he worked with college students at First Presbyterian Church and
Millsaps College. Their daughter, Shelby, was born in Jackson during the fall
of 2008.  After graduating in the spring of 2009, Brian and Liza moved to
Starkville, MS to work with RUF at Mississippi State University.  Their
second daughter, Annie, was born in October of 2010.

National Autonomous University of Mexico

Campus Minister Bio:
Originally from New Jersey, Peter moved to Texas in 1989 where he finished high school. After graduating from Washington & Lee University with a degree in Psychology in 1996 and from Covenant Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity in 2004, Peter was ordained in the PCA and moved to Mexico City in 2005 to begin an RUF work at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Peter enjoys hanging out at the local café, reading, talking, improving his Spanish, and occasionally getting out on his bike.

New Mexico State University

Sid was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He attended Davidson College in North Carolina. While at Davidson, Sid became a Christian and met Tere, whom he later married. After three years teaching and coaching at a private school near Washington D.C., he moved to Orlando to attend Reformed Theological Seminary. During his time at R.T.S., he worked in a local Presbyterian church, interned with R.U.F. at University of Central Florida, and graduated with a Master of Divinity degree.

North Carolina State University (NCSU)

Northwestern University

Luke is originally from Columbia, MO. He attended the University of Missouri, where he graduated with a degree in philosophy. After college lived in Kenya for a year, volunteering with various missions organizations. He then directed the student ministries at The Crossing in Columbia, MO for three years. He currently lives in Evanston, IL and is completing the final year of his MDiv at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Luke met his wife, Janet, while guiding backpacking trips in Colorado. They were married in 2007, and have one son, Hudson. 

Oklahoma State University

Daniel is originally from Fort Payne, Alabama and still misses the rivers and canyons of his childhood home. He is both an alumni (2001) and huge fan of Auburn University where he met his beautiful wife Taylor. Taylor is a native Texan from Houston and she enjoys all things ballet and her children. The cute little red-head is Lainey, who loves to sing and play animals. The little man is Gaddis, who is extremely active, sweet, and all boy, and the little button is Harper Elizabeth.  Daniel finished his Masters of Divinity @ Redeemer Theological Seminary in Dallas (formerly Westminster). He enjoys playing Ultimate Frisbee, watching college football, discussing theology, or trying to fleece it out (from “The Office”). Alex is originally from Lookout Mountain, GA and grew up in the Chattanooga area where he attended The McCallie School for boys.  Alex spent 2 years as an Intern with RUF @ Mercer University in Macon, GA.  He then attended Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA where he received an M.Div.  Alex has been married to his wife Becki for 7 years now, they have 3 little boys: Whit, Miles and William Monroe.

Purdue University

Brian Davis was born and raised in Kansas City, MO.  He attended Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth where he developed a borderline unhealthy love of Horned Frog football (2011 Rose Bowl Champions!).  Upon graduation he and Jeanette got married.  They spent the next five years in Texas where Brian attended Westminster Theological Seminary in Dallas (now Redeemer Seminary) and was on staff at Fort Worth Presbyterian Church.  Jeanette taught preschool until the birth of their first son.  They are very excited to be back in the Midwest working with RUF at Purdue University.  They have three sons:  Jack, who loves Toy Story 3, Cars 2, all things BBQ and dessert, Dustin, who is currently into Toy Story 3 and Cars 2, and Samuel, who spends 99% of his time crawling, sleeping and eating.

Andrew grew up in Mississippi and Memphis and was educated at Ole Miss and Covenant Seminary in St. Louis.  He was an assistant pastor in St. Louis and then led RUF at The University of Memphis for three years.  His wife, Shelley, worked with RUF for five years.

Rice University

Campus Minister Bio:
Originally from Dallas, Texas, Billy is the fourth of five boys. After attending the University of Texas at Austin, Billy served for two years as an RUF intern at Auburn University. Billy followed up his time at Auburn by attending Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi while working with college students at First Presbyterian Church and Millsaps College. Before becoming the RUF Campus Minister at Rice, Billy spent three years teaching and coaching at Providence Christian School of Texas in Dallas. In 2001 Billy married the lovely and talented Ashley Joan Knox of Austin, Texas, and they now have three wonderful children, William, Knox, and Jackson.

Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD)

Campus Minister Bio:
Michael grew up in a two-stoplight town in the middle of Georgia. He was first involved with RUF as a student at Mercer University and then as an RUF intern at the University of Alabama.  After attending Covenant Seminary, laboring on a Falcon farm in Wales, teaching in Ghana, waiting tables, and serving as an Associate Pastor in Saint Louis (02-08), Michael is excited to be back with RUF. He is married to Chris Burkley Gordon and they have three children Elliot, Elsa aka "Bug," and Ezra.

Southern Methodist University

Chad and Jada are originally from Tennessee, and first met as college freshmen at the University of Tennessee.  After graduating from college, they remained at UT where Chad directed a local campus ministry for three years.  They then packed their bags and headed to St. Louis, MO, the home of Covenant Theological Seminary, where Chad worked hard to finish his Masters of Divinity and Jada worked harder as an event planner to put food on the table.  Ministering to college students has been a love of Chad and Jada for many years now, and both are excited about the opportunity that the Lord has now given them to serve students at SMU (since January 2007).  In April 2007, their family grew a little (about 7 pounds) with the birth of their first child, John Randall.  In June 2009, Charlie was born.  They youngest son, Carter was born in December 2010.

Stanford University

Britton grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2001. He served as an RUF intern from 2001-2004 at the University of Tennessee where he met his wife Elizabeth. They went to Covenant Seminary from 2004-2007 and during those short three years had Mary Walton (1.10.05), Shelby (1.10.05), Britton (9.20.06), and Katherine (9.20.06). Britton was called to serve as the campus minister for RUF at the University of South Carolina in the summer of 2007. In the summer of 2011 Britton was called by RUF to Stanford University.

Tennessee Technical University (Tennessee Tech)

Jeff grew up in Los Angeles, California, and then moved to rural Arkansas when he was sixteen years old. After high school, he attended Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas, majoring in Religion. Following graduation from Hendrix, he received a Master’s degree in African-American Religious History and Religious Thought from Vanderbilt University's Divinity School. Toward the end of his time at Vanderbilt, God graciously drew him to Himself. After his years in Nashville, he moved to Philadelphia and attended Westminster Theological Seminary. During his time in Philly, he married Cathy Green (July 7, 1991), whom he had met at Vanderbilt, and they had their first daughter, Micah (June 2, 1995).

From June 1996-May 2004, Jeff served at associate pastor to families and youth at Fort Worth Presbyterian Church. From June 2004-July 2008, Jeff served as RUF campus minister at NC State. And from August 2008-present, Jeff is serving at the RUF campus minister at Tennessee Tech University.

Jeff and Cathy have two other children, Asher (June 29, 1997) and Anna Grace (March 1, 2000).

Texas A&M

Campus Minister Bio:
After serving 4 years with RUF at Hinds Community College near Jackson, MS,  Ben and Beth Hailey are now in College Station, TX serving at Texas A&M University.  Ben is a 2004 graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS.  Ben and Beth both attended Delta State University in Cleveland, MS and both grew up in MS.  They have two children. Hannah (8/12/04) and Nathan (9/26/06). Ben enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting and golf.  Beth loves exercise and sewing.

Texas A&M at Corpus Christi

Paul Miller was born and raised in Salisbury, Maryland. After moving to Dallas with his twin brother in 1996 Texas soon began to feel like home. He graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 2002. In 2003 he met his wife, Laura, who grew up in Dallas and is a graduate of The University of Texas (’01) with a degree in Interior Design. Within 10 months they were married! Paul attended Westminster Theological Seminary (Dallas campus) where he earned his Masters of Divinity (’08). In June of 2008 Paul and Laura headed down to south Texas where they began an RUF chapter at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. They have one beautiful baby boy, Jack, who was born August 10, 2009. Paul and Laura enjoy movies, going to the beach, outdoor activities, and playing with Jack and their dog, Mathis. Paul is attempting to learn how to play golf…a great exercise in sanctification!

Texas Christian University (TCU)

Ryan and Laura are most recently from St. Louis (Laura’s hometown). Ryan is from Franklin, TN and went to college at the University of Tennessee. After finishing college, Ryan worked with a high school ministry back in Franklin before moving to St. Louis to do graduate work at Covenant Theological Seminary. While in St. Louis he met Laura and were soon married. Laura went to Davidson College and has a Master’s in Counseling from Covenant as well. Campus Minister Bio:

Steve hails from Van, Texas and is a graduate of Texas Christian University ('96). He and his wife Kelly (Holton) Percifield met as camp counselors at Camp Ozark and have been married for twelve years. Kelly is an Oklahoma girl and graduated from Vanderbilt University ('96) and Texas Christian University, (M.Ed. '02). Steve and Kelly spent the first eight years of married life in Fort Worth, Texas before making the move to Glenside, PA where Steve recently graduated from Westminster Theological Seminary, (May '08). They have five children, Lillian, Connor, Holt, Ella, and Lucy. Steve will be beginning his third year of ministry at Texas Tech University this fall.

Trinity University

Michael serves as the RUF Campus Minister at Trinity University. Michael and his wife, Rachel, are both originally from Memphis, TN. Michael attended the University of Tennessee - the other UT. While Rachel attended Covenant College in Chattanooga, TN. Before moving to Texas, Michael attended Covenant Theological Seminary (MDiv '10) where he studied the Bible, theology, and counseling.

Michael and Rachel have two children, Caleb (born in 2008) and Abigail (born in 2010). They enjoy being outdoors, taking visits to the zoo, watching movies, and finding unique restaurants to enjoy a good meal. Michael also enjoys running, golf, and college football. Will started the RUF ministry at Tulane in 2010 after receiving his Master of Divinity degree from Westminster Theological Seminary in Dallas. Prior to attending seminary, Will worked as a financial analyst in Memphis after graduating from Vanderbilt Business School and Mississippi State University. Will lives in Uptown New Orleans with his wife Michelle and their dog Riley.

United States Airforce Academy

Jimmy and Vicki were married in May 1969 while students at Phillips University; both graduated in May of 1971. Jimmy received his Master of Divinity from Phillips University Graduate Seminary in 1974 and his Doctor of Ministry in 1995 from Reformed Theological Seminary (Orlando). Jimmy's ministry experience includes six years as a pastor and twenty-three years as a staff representative for The Navigators. During his service with The Navigators, he ministered for three years on the campus of Texas Tech University, two years at Oklahoma State University and seventeen years at the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA). To date, his ministry at the Academy spans more than three decades. Jimmy and Vicki have no greater passion than seeing Air Force Academy cadets and graduates grow in their relationship to the Lord Jesus Christ. In his free time, Jimmy enjoys swimming, motorcycles and shooting sports. The Coveys have two adult children and three

Ryan Moore is from Dayton, TN, a small town just North of Chattanooga. He is a graduate of The Baylor School in Chattanooga, The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and Covenant Theological Seminary in St Louis, MO. On May 27, 2006 he married Ada Appling, now Ada Moore, a native of Memphis, TN.  She graduated from Germantown High School in Germantown, TN, Auburn University, and Covenant Theological Seminary. Ryan is an avid fan of just about everything, he loves reading, movies, music, playing guitar, painting, any outdoor activity, any game (backgammon, poker, bocci ball, etc.), listening to talk radio, and the stock market.

Joe is a native of Birmingham.  He grew up in Mountain Brook, went to college at UAB, and then to seminary at Beeson Divinity School at Samford University, where he graduated in 2007.  He married Melissa in the summer of 2005.  She is a nurse at UAB's hospital in the bone-marrow transplant.  They have a black lab, Knox.  He is awesome.

Bryan loves sports, theology, philosophy, and his wife and 3 girls (13,10, 8). He loves to think about the big questions of life and help students see how there are consequences to these ideas in learning to live a life under God's grace.

University of Athens

Stephen and Lesley Maginas are from Georgia.  They've known each other since middle school when they both were at a PCA church in Marietta, GA.  Stephen recently graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary with a master of divinity.  Lesley graduated from nursing school at Georgia College and State University and has been serving as an RN for the last six years.  Both Stephen and Lesley came to know the grace of God in the person and work of Jesus Christ as children.  Through God's sovereign direction, they were approached by RUF and MTW to plant the very first RUF/MTW ministry in Athens, Greece.  They will embark upon this venture as soon as all of their support is raised.

University of California - Berkeley

Campus Minister Bio:

Brent started the RUF campus ministry at Berkeley in the fall of 2006. Prior to RUF, Brent served as an Assistant Pastor at City Church of San Francisco. Originally from Greenville, SC, Brent is a graduate of Furman University and received his Master's of Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary in St Louis, Missouri.  Brent met Katie through RUF while she was working in the RUF administrative office.  They were married in April 2010 and are enjoying life in Berkeley with William (Brent’s son).  Brent, Katie and William love family time, hanging out with students and taking advantage of all that the Bay Area has to offer.

University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA)

In 2004 Joe graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in Finance degree that he would never use. For the next year, Joe worked in real estate (back when this was a good idea) while waiting for Tiffany, the love of his life (and he gets big points for putting this in his bio), to finish up school so they could get married. And they did- June 11, 2005. Next up- seminary at RTS Orlando. Two children, an M.Div, and a M.A. in Counseling later, Joe and his family have moved out to the west coast to minister to UCLA students. He is truly graced by the forbearance of a beautiful and passionate wife in Tiffany, as well as an adorable set of opinionated and energetic children in Taylor and Lydia. And all four of them are excited to be in sunny LA!

Jaimeson is a Northern California native.  He grew up in Sunnyvale, CA and did his undergraduate study at the San Jose State University. After teaching and coaching water polo at a private Christian high school, Jaimeson went on to get his Master of Divinity at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.  Jaimeson met his wife Christi as a pastoral intern at Park Cities Presbyterian Church before moving to Santa Barbara to minister to students at UCSB.  

University of Central Florida

Campus Minister Bio:
Ande grew up in Naples, FL and went to undergrad at UCF to play baseball and to get a degree in Business Administration. While at UCF Ande met his wife Kelly who was studying Communicative Disorders at UCF. After graduation Ande went to Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando. FL to get his M-Div and Kelly stayed at UCF to get her masters. Ande and Kelly have one son (Owen) and one on the way (eta Aug 2010). Ande enjoys most sports, most outdoor activities, most types of cooking, most family, Ireland, and good laughs.

University of Connecticut

Lucas was born in Brazil, but grew up primarily in New Jersey.  He attended Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC where he was first introduced to RUF.  After graduating in 2006, he was an intern with RUF at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville for two years before attending Covenant Seminary in St. Louis, MO.  In 2011, after earning his MDiv, he made his way back to the Northeast to become the campus minister at UConn.  He loves music (playing and listening), traveling (he has visited over a dozen countries), and sports (some playing, but mostly watching).

University of Delaware - RUFI

Rick Gray is a graduate of the University of Delaware and Covenant Seminary. Following seminary, Rick served as youth pastor at Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Newark, DE. Then he joined MTW as a missionary in rural Uganda. While in Uganda, Rick met his wife, Wendy, who was a Bible translator. After 20 years with MTW, Rick joined RUF International in June 2010 to serve on the University Delaware campus. Rick loves welcoming internationals and pointing them to Jesus. He and Wendy have three sons: Grant, Aidan and Chase.

University of Florida

Campus Minister Bio:

Steve is a graduate of Clemson University.  After graduating there he worked as a youth minister and Bible teacher with two PCA churches in South Carolina.  He then went on to Covenant Seminary in St Louis and was ordained in 2003.  He's been at the University of Florida ever since.Steve has been married to his wife Jenna since 1995 and they have two daughters together-- Zoe (born May 2003) and Ali (Born December 2004).

University of Georgia

Justin Clement is the RUF Campus Minister at the University of Georgia.  He formerly served with RUF at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas where he had the privilege of pioneering that work in 2006.  Prior to serving with RUF, Justin served as an Assistant Pastor at Redeemer Presbyterian Church (PCA) for two years.  Before moving to Texas, Justin and his wife, Elizabeth attended Covenant Theological Seminary, where Justin earned his Master of Divinity (‘03).

Justin is a graduate of Samford University(’99) in Birmingham, Alabama and Elizabeth graduated from Meredith College(’98) in Raleigh, North Carolina. Elizabeth and Justin have three beautiful children, John Huss (he goes by both names), who was born June 9, 2004, Gardner, who was born September 13, 2006, and Eliza Jane (we like double names), who was born July 6, 2009.  The Clements enjoy the finer things in life like college sports and look forward to cheering for the bulldogs.   When Justin is not hanging out with students, he might be found in the movie theater or jogging down Milledge Avenue. He is also a self proclaimed expert in 1980’s music and movie trivia.

University of Georgia (UGA) - RUFI

Jeff Thompson has been a campus minister with RUF International at the University of Georgia since 2001. Prior to his campus ministry at UGA, Jeff served with Mission to the World in Japan for almost five years. Jeff is a graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS. Jeff and his wife Caroline have been married for nine years and they have two children, George and Caroline.

University of Houston

Blake was born and raised in Houston, TX. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2003 and finally convinced Ryan Plank to marry him in 2005. Blake returned to the University of Texas a second time to learn Arabic and earn a Master’s in Middle Eastern Studies. Sensing a call to ministry, Blake left the prospect of federal law enforcement and moved to Boston, MA where he attended Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Blake has since made it back to Houston and he and Ryan now have three incredible children, Jacks, Paden, and Mazie.

University of Iowa

Campus Minister Bio:
Josh has been married to his wife Julie since 2003.  Both Julie and Josh grew up in Quincy, Illinois, just 2 hours south of the University of Iowa.  Josh graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin with his Bachelors degree in 2003 and from Covenant Theological Seminary with his Masters degree in 2008.  Josh loves taking his wife out on dates, eating good food, hanging out with good friends and UIowa students, listening to good music, playing sports of any kind, talking about life and Jesus, having fun, and since January 10, 2010, spending lots of time with his new baby boy, Samuel.

University of Kentucky

Jonathan Davis and his family moved from St. Louis, MO to Lexington, KY in June of 2011 to begin work as the RUF Campus Minister at UK.  While in St. Louis, Jonathan studied at Covenant Theological Seminary and Erin worked in recruiting and chased their little daughter Caroline around the house.  Jonathan and Erin are thrilled to be living in the beautiful bluegrass and thrilled to be a part of the Big Blue Nation!  They love spending time with students, so feel free to contact them to set up a time to get together!

Campus Minister Bio:
Way was born and raised in Meridian, MS, and attended Ole Miss (University of Mississippi) in Oxford from '96-'00.  After graduation, Way worked for three years at Christ Presbyterian Church in Oxford with Junior and Senior High.  Married to Amy Davis in 2002, Way and Amy moved to Jackson, MS, to attend Reformed Theological Seminary and work with Senior High students at First Presbyterian.  After graduation in May of 2007, Way and Amy moved to Louisville, KY, to begin RUF at the University of Louisville.  They have one child, Miles, who was born on June 27, 2008.

University of Maryland

Campus Minister Bio:
Chris Garriott grew up in the Baltimore area and graduated from Geneva College with a degree in Civil Engineering. After five years working in engineering he enrolled at Covenant Theological Seminary graduating with a Master of Divinity  in 1996. From here he taught Bible and coached baseball at Westminster Christian Academy in St.Louis and then was a youth minister in Oklahoma City until 2006 when the Lord called him back to Maryland to work with RUF at the University of Maryland.  Chris is an avid sports fan, loves to take road trips, play the guitar and engage students with the Gospel.

University of Memphis

Johnathan Keenan is originally from Hereford, TX and a graduate from the University of Mississippi (97'-01'). After his time at Ole Miss, he moved to Inverness, Scotland to serve as a youth minister in Smithton-Culloden Free Church for three and half years. In the summer of 2007, Johnathan moved to Charlotte, NC to attend RTS. While at RTS he worked as a TA for Dr. Douglas Kelly and served as a pastoral intern at Christ Covenant under Mike Ross. After graduating RTS  in May of 2010, he moved back to Scotland to pursue ministry in the Free Church and work on a Masters in Scottish Theology under the supervision of Professor Donald Macleod. However, in May 2011 the LORD redirected his steps to Memphis to work with RUF. 

University of Minnesota

Campus Minister Bio:
Chad became a Christian during college while at Shippensbug University in Pennyslvania.  After his conversion, he knew the Lord was leading him to campus ministry and went to Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis. Following seminary, he spent 5 years as RUF Campus Minister at the University of Missouri.  In 2003, he moved to State College, Pennsylvania to begin the RUF ministry at Penn State University.  Chad is now in the Twin Cities of Minnesota to help plant a PCA church in the cities and begin the work of RUF at the University of Minnesota.

University of Mississippi (Ole Miss)

Jason graduated from Samford University in 1997 with a degree in Secondary Education. After graduation he spent three years in pharmaceutical sales and graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary Orlando with a Master of Divinity degree in 2005. His wife, Susie, graduated from Samford in 2000 with a degree in Human Development & Family Studies and earned a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies degree from Reformed Theological Seminary Orlando in 2003. After 6 years of ministering with Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) at Samford University, Jason and Susie moved their family to Oxford, MS where Jason has been called to serve as the next RUF Campus Minister at Ole Miss. The Sterlings have three daughters, Kate, Elizabeth, and Anne Wright and are expecting their fourth daughter in September. 

University of Missouri

Campus Minister Bio:
Rev. Ross Dixon is a graduate of Auburn University and later Covenant Theological Seminary, where he earned his Master of Divinity degree in 2003.  Ross' favorite thing is time with his family.  After that are running, swimming, movies, books, and coffee.  And chess.  He wants to be good at golf, but he is not. Ross is married to Jenny, full-time mommy to their daughter, Avery, and part-time Physical Therapist.

University of Nebraska

Campus Minister Bio:

Steve began as RUF Campus Minister at the University of Nebraska in June 2008. Steve received his undergraduate degree from The University of Nebraska and his Masters of Divinity (M.Div.) from Covenant Theological Seminary in May of 2007. Steve is husband to his wonderful wife Jennifer who received her undergraduate degree in Nursing from the University of Nebraska and her Graduate Certificate in Theological Studies from Covenant Theological Seminary in May of 2007. They enjoy caring for their precious daughter Amelia (2) (who has special needs) and their son Miles (1). Steve enjoys running, reading, design and watching most things Discovery Channel. (He secretly believes that someday he will find himself in a dicey situation that will require mad surviving skills). Jen enjoys her job as a Registered Nurse, works hard at caring for Amelia, and making copious amounts of food for whomever walks through the front door. Amelia enjoys bright colors and singing. She preaches us the gospel daily through her quiet yet bright disposition. Miles is the tender lion- full of energy and laughter.

Campus Minister Bio:
Daniel was born in Valley, AL and raised in Columbus, GA his whole life. He graduated from Auburn University in 2000.  After graduation he was on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ for 5 years; 2 years in China and 3 years at the University of Alabama. He attended Reformed Theological Seminary from 2005-2008. During those 3 years he served as the Pastoral Intern at a church plant, Christ Kingdom Church, in Orlando, FL.

University of North Carolina (UNC) - Charlotte

After working for JP Morgan and the NYU School of Law, Omari left his home of New York City and became a graduate of The Criswell College (2003) and Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte (2009). He married Cherise, a native of Jamaica and a graduate of New York University in July of 2004. During their five years in Charlotte, Cherise has served as a dance teacher for Wilson Middle School (CMS) and the NoDa School of Arts and Omari served as a ruling elder at Christ Central Church. They have experience serving teens and young adults both on the campus and in the local church. Omari and Cherise love eating out with friends, getting people hooked on scary movies, traveling, enjoying performing arts and watching intense shows like 24. Their biggest passion is raising their first child, Mia Simone. Omari is starting a new work at UNCC and hopes to gather and serve a multi-cultural community with the gospel of the kingdom.

Campus Minister Bio:
Tommy is the campus minister for RUF at UNF and the Jacksonville metro area. Tommy grew up in Orange Park, FL.  He graduated from Trinity College in New Port Richey, FL, with a B.A. in Biblical Studies. Tommy received his Master's of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL, in 2007. Tommy served at River Ridge Presbyterian Church in youth ministry eight years before moving to Jacksonville to minister to college students.  Tommy enjoys watching football, surfing, playing racquetball, all great movies, playing sports, and Starbucks coffee.  He is married to his wonderful and beautiful wife Nikki and has the coolest daughter Naphtili (Tili).

University of Oklahoma

Rev. Justin Westmoreland is our RUF Campus Minister at the University of Oklahoma. Justin grew up in Sherwood, Arkansas, and attended college at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX, where he received a degree in Mechanical Engineering with BioMedical Specialization. Through his involvement with RUF at SMU and attendance at Park Cities Presbyterian Church, he discovered the beautiful ways in which reformed theology best articulates the precious truths of scripture. Post-college, he served two years as a youth minister at a PCA church in Knoxville, TN where he met his wife, Meredith. Justin graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC, and after interning at Ballantyne Presbyterian Church, was called to be the RUF campus minister at the University of Tennessee - Martin from 2006-2011. Justin loves sports, especially college football. He also loves to eat, and, as a result, his other hobby is running. One “did you know” fact about Justin: he was once mistaken for a Super Bowl quarterback in a Charlotte, NC post office. Justin is taking a break from his lifelong quest of cheering for the Arkansas Razorbacks in every SEC stadium to learn and teach his children the OU fight song, "Boomer Sooner!" 

Justin and Meredith were married in June, 2003. Meredith is a native of Montgomery, AL. She attended the University of Montevallo for undergrad and the University of Tennessee for grad school. Meredith is a speech-language pathologist, but is currently taking time off to be a stay-at-home mom to the Westmorelands' small children -- Knox (born January '07), Owen (June '08), and Grace (November '09).  Meredith loves traveling, running, shopping (especially at Target), blogging, and keeping up with and spending time with friends and family.

University of Pittsburgh (Pitt)

Campus Minister Bio:
Derek grew up in rural Virginia, graduated from James Madison University and Covenant Theological Seminary, and is the campus minister of RUF at the University of Pittsburgh. He enjoys sports and literature, and can be found in coffee shops all over Oakland.

Luda is a graduate of Saint Louis University, having attained three degrees while studying in three different countries. She speaks a multitude of languages and may well be a spy. She enjoys thinking about gardening more than actually doing it, reading and cooking- particularly for others.

Caleb is still little and has no major accomplishments. We love him anyway...very much so.

University of South Alabama

Lanier and Leslie both graduated from Furman University but are Alabama natives.  Lanier grew up in Birmingham, AL and following seminary they returned to Birmingham where Lanier served as an Assistant Pastor at Cross Creek Church.  Leslie is a Mobile native and is excited about being back home. They have two children, Camille (3) and Nier Nier Jr. (2). After serving at Cross Creek the Wood's had a desire and longing to be ministering with college students.  They had previously been campus interns with RUF at UGA, where they had first learned and grown this desire.  They are excited to be at South Alabama now, where the Football team doesn't loose, the seafood is fresh, and where they can love Students.

Sammy is originally from Sumter, SC. He graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2002, then Reformed Theological Seminary (Charlotte) in 2006. He has been the Campus Minister at GSU since the Fall of 2006. He, his wife Alyssa, and their four children, Jayne Mac, Asher, Eloise, and Sadie. In the summer of 2011, Sammy was called by RUF to the University of South Carolina.

University of Southern Mississippi

Campus Minister Bio:
Ben grew up in Ruston, Louisiana but has lived in Mississippi since beginning at Ole Miss in 1998. He went on to Seminary at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi during which time he met his wife Marianna while they both worked in youth ministry there.   He accepted the call as RUF Campus Minister to The University Southern Mississippi in 2008.  Ben and Marianna got married in 2008 as well. Ben enjoys golf, sports, outdoors, and road trips with his wife.

Brent has been the RUF Campus Minister at UTK since 2004.  Originally from Memphis, he graduated from Ole Miss, however, even then he cheered for the Vols.  Upon graduation, Brent returned to Memphis to work with junior and senior high school students.  Subsequently, he moved to St. Louis for graduate school to study the Bible, theology and counseling.  While in St. Louis, he fell in love with the Cardinals, the city, authentic Italian food, and, most importantly, his wife, Emily.  They have two children, William and Abigial.

Campus Minister Bio:
John Craft grew up in Memphis, TN.  After graduating from Vanderbilt University, where he studied philosophy and film studies, he moved to Athens, GA to complete a two year internship with RUF at the University of Georgia.  While doing intern training, he met his wife Leigh, who was an RUF intern at Winthrop University.  After they got married, John and Leigh moved to St. Louis, MO to attend Covenant Theological Seminary.  After graduating and doing some college ministry in St. Louis, John and Leigh moved to Chattanooga in 2007 to do RUF.  John and Leigh have two children, William and Lizzie, and one great dog, Sadie.

University of Tennessee - Knoxville - RUFI

Lee Leadbetter is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and Covenant Seminary. Before seminary, Lee directed the youth ministries at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in McKinney, TX. After seminary, he and his family served as short-term missionaries in Romania with the PCA. Upon their return to the U.S. in 2006, Lee worked as a pastoral intern for Redeemer Church of Knoxville, and started an RUF International ministry at the University of Tennessee in January, 2008. Lee and his wife Jennifer have two children, Daniel and Phillip.

University of Tennessee - Martin

Dawson Bean has been the RUF Campus Minister UT-Martin since 2011, and has worked in campus ministry since 2001 at Louisiana State University, Lindenwood University, and now UT-Martin. Dawson graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. College was a tremendous time of growth for Dawson, durring which he discovered reformed theology and came to love the ways it summarizes the amazing truths of scripture. Dawson also met his wife Shanna during college through their mutual involvement in campus ministry at Texas Tech. Post-college, they served together on staff with Campus Crusade for four years at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. Dawson graduated from Covenant Theological Seminary in Saint Louis with his Master of Divinity, and came to be the campus minister at UT-Martin in 2011. Dawson loves both SEC and Big 12 football, hunting and fishing, and time with Shanna and their kids.  They have three human children- Joshua Stephen, Caleb, and Mary Beth, and their beloved 5 lb. yapper Beauregard Bean.

Though a graduate of Texas State, Derek began his college career at the University of Texas, where he met his future wife, Joy, and where they were a part of the first class of RUF at UT. After working for 10 years in the advertising and real estate fields, Derek and Joy moved to St. Louis to attend Covenant Seminary, where Derek graduated in 2009. Derek and Joy have three children–Virginia, Hampton, and Anderson.

Jeff Jordan is the campus minister for RUF at both the University of Texas at Tyler (UTT) and Tyler Junior College (TJC).  Jeff grew up in Jackson, MS, and recieved his undergraduate degree in English from Mississippi State University. Jeff married Dominique, a native Texan, in June 2002, and then attended Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS till he graduated with an M.Div. in May '06.  Dominique Jordan graduated from Southern Methodist University and worked with RUF at Mississippi State University for 3 years as an intern, and currently has her hands full with their three boys, Jeffrey, Wells, Henry, and a fourth baby due Sept. 30th

The Rev. Brent Corbin came to Tulsa in the summer of 2010 after having graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC in May 2010. Brent was born and raised in Duncan, OK and graduated from the University of Oklahoma in May 2003. After a short stint in commercial banking (which included working in Tulsa, oddly enough), he left Oklahoma and moved to Nashville, TN where he worked as an RUF intern for 2 years at Vanderbilt University. While at Vanderbilt, he met (his future wife) Sarah, who was then in graduate school for Physical Therapy at Belmont University. After marrying in May 2006, Brent and Sarah moved to Charlotte, NC and shortly thereafter Brent began seminary and Sarah began working as an outpatient Physical Therapist at a large healthcare system. God graced the Corbin's with Nora Kline in April 2009, and they have loved being with her ever since!

University of Utah

Bryce Hales grew up in Laguna Beach, California and has spent most of his life between Santa Barbara and San Diego. He completed his B.A. in Religious Studies from Westmont College and his M.Div. from The University of Glasgow in Scotland. He was ordained in the PCA in 2007 and has served as a pastor in Pasadena and San Diego before re-starting RUF at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City in 2009.

He met his wife, Ashley, when they were in high school and they married shortly after graduating from college. They have two little boys, Ezra and Porter. Though once a surfer, now Bryce is an avid skier, enjoys hiking in the summer and can be found most days working at local coffee shops.

Shawn graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Biological Sciences.  He spent about a year working for an architecture firm as the "office jester" before serving as the youth director at Clemson Presbyterian Church until moving to St. Louis, MO to attend Covenant Theological Seminary in 1999.  He graduated in 2002 and was ordained as the the Assistant Pastor of The Covenant Presbyterian Church in St. Louis, MO.In the Spring of 2005 the Presbyterian Church in America called him to move to Charlottesville in order to serve the students at the University of Viriginia. He is blessed with a fantabulous wife, Jennifer and three children (William-9; Mary Austin-6; and Annabel 3).

Stacey and Megan are Texans and met while at Baylor University. After graduation, Stacey became the youth director at Christ the King Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Houston, TX in 1998, where Megan and Stacey were married in 1999. Then in 2000 they moved to Dallas, where Stacey was the youth director at Park Cities Presbyterian Church (PCA). In 2002, they relocated to Jackson, Mississippi, where Stacey received his Masters of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary. In 2005, Stacey was called to RUF at Vanderbilt, and they have loved life in Nashville ever since. Stacey and Megan are joyful parents of Jake, born February of 2010.

Andy Wood is a graduate of Virginia Tech, receiving a degree in Business Management in 1999.  He served as the youth pastor at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Richmond, VA for five years before heading to Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO.  After graduating with a M.Div. in December 2007, he moved to Raleigh, NC to be an Associate Pastor at Redeemer  Presbyterian  Church.  He was called by the Presbyterian Church in America to by the RUF Campus Minister at Virginia Tech in June 2011. 

He married Amy, a graduate of Texas Christian University, in August of 2003.  They have  3 children- 2  energetic  boys,  Josiah and Cooper, and sweet Sadie Jane, the newest addition to the family.  They love spending time outdoors, running, reading, being with friends, and rooting for the Hokies and the St. Louis Cardinals.  Andy also enjoy bluegrass and playing the guitar and mandolin.

Kevin Teasley is the campus minister for RUF at Wake Forest University.  He is a graduate of University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO.  Prior to coming to serve as the RUF campus minister at Wake Forest, he was the RUF campus minister at Tennessee Tech University for 6 years.  Kevin is married to Rosie, and they have three children.  Kennedy is 8, Micah is 6, and Molly Jane is 3.  Besides spending time with the family, Kevin enjoys being on the golf course, following Demon Deacs and Ole Miss sports, and his new-found passion, fly-fishing!

Fritz and Aimee have been married 17 years and have five beautiful children. They both grew up in Mississippi and met at Delta State. After serving in the MS Delta they attended RTS in Jackson. A native of Sumter, SC, Jeff first got involved with RUF as an undergrad at Clemson University. After graduating from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte in 2003, he was called as the full-time campus minister for RUF at Winthrop University. Jeff met his wonderful wife Tracey (also a SC native!) on March 11, 2000 on a blind date in Greenville (where she taught third grade) ... ten months later, they were married! After growing up in Clemson, SC, David decided to go away to college at Georgia Southern University. He earned a degree in Marketing & Computer Information Systems and was involved with RUF. Upon graduation, he went on staff with Athletes in Action’s soccer program for two years. Following that time was a two year stint in the business world doing Marketing and IT. After graduating from Covenant Theological Seminary in 2010, he was called as the Campus Minister for RUF at Wofford College. He is blessed to have an incredible wife, BeCa, who has an expansive background in relational ministry."

Kevin Nelson has served as campus minister at Yale since 2008. He holds graduate degrees from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando and Duke University. Aside from meeting with college students and serving as assistant pastor at Christ Presbyterian Church in New Haven, he is an avid baseball fan and a classic-movie buff. He and his wife Christie have one daughter, Kyra.

Alabama A&M

Roy grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana where he was one of 5 children. From there he attended Louisiana State University where he earned a degree in Elementary Education. While at LSU, he was involved with RUF and was a member of South Baton Rouge Presbyterian (PCA). In July of 2005, he began the Masters of Divinity degree at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson and finished in May of 2008. While in seminary, Roy married Emily Chapman of Starkville, Mississippi in March of 2007. They have one daughter, Iris, and a son, Jonas.

Anderson University

Campus Minister Bio: John Boyte is a graduate of Clemson University where he earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering (1987). He has had sixteen hours of graduate course work in Recreation Administration also from Clemson University. John has worked with youth as a lay minister directing and teaching the Junior High Youth at Peoples Bible Church in Greenville, SC (1988-1992) and the Senior High at the Evangelical Church of Bangkok in Bangkok, Thailand (1992-1993). He was involved with teaching Sunday School and assisting with the youth at New Covenant before joining the staff in 1996. He finished the MDiv at Erskine Seminary and is ordained as a Teaching Elder in the PCA Church. He married his wife, Cheryl in 1987. They have three children, J.J., Casey, and Caleb. John served as Associate Pastor of New Covenant Church for twelve years and has been the RUF Campus Minister at Anderson University for tweleve years where since January 2008 he has served full time.

Appalachian State University

Matt Howell is a graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC. He grew up in Dallas, TX and graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2003 where he studied Philosophy and Communication. After graduation, Matt served as an intern with RUF at Louisiana State University for two years where he developed a heart for college students. It was during his internship that he met and married the RUF intern at Emory University, Kathryn, who hails from Memphis, TN and studied Religious Studies at Washington and Lee. After his stay in Bayou Country and following their wedding, Matt and Kathryn Howell moved to Charlotte for seminary. He loves to read, listen to and make music, play basketball, and win at board games.

Arizona State

Jason (from Houston, TX) and Tiffany (from Gridley, CA) met and married in Phoenix near the turn of the century at Grand Canyon University. Just over a decade later, they are happy to be back in the Valley of the Sun and excited to work with RUF at ASU. Jason completed his M.Div at Westminster Theological Seminary in Dallas (now Redeemer Seminary) while simultaneously working at the school. Tiffany is the greatest chef in the universe and a stay at home mom for the 4 rambunctious Bobo children: Cason, Justus, Shaylee, and Garrison.

Auburn University

Richard and Amy with children Thompson, Betsy, and Paul have worked with RUF at Auburn since 2001.  As former students and interns with RUF, Richard and Amy enjoy sharing the love of Christ through a ministry that God has used in their lives.  Whether preaching and leading, talking over a cup of coffee, or playing football or cheerleader in the front yard with their "college friends", the Vise family knows what a privilege it is to serve Christ in this way.

Baylor University

Campus Minister Bio:
Shaynor was born and grew up in Dallas, TX, and then attended Baylor University where he earned a B.S. in Biology.  After five years as a Residence Hall Director at Baylor he went on to attend Truett Theological Seminary.  He married Heather Crosslin, also a Baylor grad, in 1994, and they have a son, Jonathan and a daughter, Violet.

Belhaven University

Chad and Kelly have been married for 8 years and have three beautiful children: Wyatt, Raney, and Holden.  They both grew up in Mississippi where Chad attended Belhaven University and Kelly attended Mississippi College.  Having met and been established in Mississippi, they attended RTS in Jackson. They began in RUF at Hinds Community College from '08-'11 and are now serving the campus and community and Belhaven University.

Belmont University

Campus Minister Bio:

Kevin, a graduate Berklee College of Music (1986) and Covenant Theological Seminary (1995), began work at Belmont in 1995 after a career in the music industry. His work with RUF led to the creation of "Indelible Grace Music" (www.igracemusic.com) which has produced a number of CDs of old hymns set to new music. Kevin is married to Wendy and they have three children, Cooper, Isaac, and Amelia (whom they adopted from China in 2005.) He enjoys music, disc golf, and collecting old books.

Birmingham Southern College

Campus Minister Bio:
Tom is the RUF Campus Minister at Birmingham Southern College.  He is husband to Kristin Forney Franklin who graduated from the University of Alabama and works for the American Cancer Society.   Tom and Kristin were married in 2006. Tom graduated from BSC in 1999 and went on to work in the Admission Office at BSC after graduation. While in college he was a member of the baseball team, part of the esteemed Residence Life staff, and between school and work was on campus for seven years. He then went to seminary at Covenant Theological Seminary, and graduated with a Masters of Divinity (M.Div.) in May of 2005. Their interests include: their dog Chelsea, travelling, to the beach, UNO, BSC baseball, Alabama football, Texas Longhorn football, cooking, golf, and American Idol.

Bloomington Church Plant

Dan and Erica grew up in Champaign, IL and met in high school. They both came to Christ in 1997 while undergrads—Dan at Illinois State University and Erica at the University of Illinois. In 2000 they graduated, were married, and moved to St. Louis where Dan taught high school history among at risk students and Erica completed her Master’s in Physical Therapy from Washington University, where she will complete her doctorate in 2012. In 2002 Dan joined staff with Great Commission Ministries and served as a GCM campus minister at the University of Illinois until beginning at Covenant Seminary in 2007 where they joined the congregation of Kirk of the Hills PCA. The Herrons are currently in Indianapolis where Dan is completing a church planting apprenticeship with the Central Indiana Presbytery at Redeemer PCA while preparing to begin a call as a PCA church planter to Bloomington in the Fall of 2012 alongside an RUF campus minister. Dan and Erica love cooking, cycling, running, rooting for the Fighting Illini, and loving on their three beautiful children: Alex, Gabriel, and Isabel.

Boise State University

Brian and Gail are natives of Georgia and Tennessee, respectively, and are graduates of the University of Georgia, where they met through their involvement with RUF and the local church (and through playing lots of Frisbee).  After college (and a year of carpentry work for Brian), they got married and served as interns with RUF at the University of Missouri for a couple of years, and then moved to Philadelphia, where Brian earned a Masters of Divinity from Westminster Theological Seminary.

Brian and Gail love outdoor recreation – especially hiking, biking, canoeing, and Frisbee – and their favorite things to do in Boise include walking in the foothills, biking on the Greenbelt, floating the river, and watching games on the ‘Smurf Turf.’

Campus Minister Bio:

Eddie graduated with his MDiv and ThM from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, in May 2006. During his time in seminary, he served in RUFBrown as a seminarian staff, where he courted Annie, who was also an intern in RUFBrown. Annie and he were married on May 4, 2007. Eddie was ordained in November 2007, to be campus minister at RUFBrown.  RUF Brown serves students at Brown, the Rhode Island School of Design, and other Providence area schools.

An alumni of Carson-Newman College, he graduated in 2002. After serving in the College Ministry at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church in Knoxville, he went on to Reformed Theological Seminary - Orlando, graduating in 2006. He served as an Assistant Pastor at Second Presbyterian Church in Memphis, TN for some years before accepting the call to start an RUF at Carson-Newman. Wes is an avid hunter and fisherman - and he loves the outdoors of East Tennessee.

Wes married his wife Nancy in 2003. She graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2003, is from Chattanooga, and is a great cook! Wes and Nancy have a two beautiful little girls, Emily Anne, who was born in September 2008 and Katherine Grace who was born in May 2011.

Christopher Newport University

Dave was born in Charleston, SC but grew up in Greenwood, SC. While attending Presbyterian College (home of the mighty Blue Hose), he met his wife Rebecca at Camp Greystone in Tuxedo, NC. Rebecca, a graduate of Ole Miss, could not resist Dave's southern charm and agreed to marry him in October of 2003. After a few years of full time work at Greystone, Dave and Rebecca moved to Charlotte, NC to attend Reformed Theological Seminary where Dave received his Masters of Divinity. In the summer of 2010 RUF hired Dave to serve as the campus minister at CNU which brought great joy to Dave's heart. Dave and Rebecca have a 2 year old son named Stokes, an over-sized dog and an under-sized cat. Dave enjoys playing golf (with clubs or frisbees), camping, fishing, and writing about himself in third person.

City Campus Ministry (New York City)

After graduating from Vanderbilt University and working in both London and New York, Michael attended Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary where he received an M.Div and a Th.M in Apologetics. During his five years in Boston, Michael served at Citylife Presbyterian Church as an Assistant Pastor in charge of both Community Life and the School of Christian Formation. He has been happily married to his wife for eight years. She will tell you she is better at basketball then her husband, and she is probably right.

Clemson University

Campus Minister Bio:
Stephen was born in Camden, SC, and after graduating from Clemson University in 1993 and from Covenant Seminary in 1998, has served with RUF at Clemson.  Stephen and his wife, Rebekah, have three children--Kathryn, Connor, and Paul.

Clemson University - RUFI

Rick Brawner graduated from ClemsonUniversity. After Rick graduated from seminary, he worked five years in campus ministry at the University of Michigan and EasternMichiganUniversity. In 1989, he returned to his home state of South Carolina to begin the RUF International ministry at ClemsonUniversity.  Rick has served 20 years with RUF International.  Rick met his wife Beth while in seminary. They have three children, Andrew, Philip and Melody. Rick reaches and equips international students through evangelism, Bible study, discipleship, and fellowship in the local PCA church. 

College of Charleston (CofC)

Campus Minister Bio:
The Clark family is absolutely thrilled to be working through RUF at the College of Charleston! Danny grew up in McLean, Virginia and went to James Madison University. There he studied Art History and Religion. There he also met his bride, Aspa Christodoulou (how's that for a last name?). Aspa was born and raised in Richmond, Virigina. Her background is Greek Orthodox and she became a believer in college. They have been married for seven years and have one son named Coleman. Danny recently graduated from Covenant Theological Seminary with a Master's Degree in Divinity. His main passions in life include studying the depth and breadth of Scripture, teaching others about redemptive history, playing, watching, and reading all things sports, not to mention exposing worldviews using culture and movies. Aspa enjoys novels, theology, and cooking for massive amounts of people. Coleman loves trains, digging holes, and telling non sequitur jokes.

College of William and Mary

Campus Minister Bio:
Ben grew up in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  He met Dawn working as a camp counselor in college, immediately fell madly in love with her and after much persistence persuaded her to be his wife.  After a few years in youth ministry they moved to St. Louis, MO to attend Covenant Theological Seminary where Ben received his Masters of Divinity.  In the summer of 2006 RUF hired Ben to serve as the campus minister at William & Mary much to Ben's delight.  Ben and Dawn have since added two to their family, Naomi and Benjamin.  Ben enjoys good music, good books, the great outdoors, good movies, some good TV shows, and most things cultural and pop cultural.  He does not typically write about himself in the third person, but has been known to do so on occasion.

Colorado State University

Campus Minister Bio:
Ryan is married to Emily and they have Grayson, Coleman, and Meredith.  The Bakers came to Colorado State in the fall of 2006 after graduating from Covenant Seminary in St. Louis. Ryan and Emily are originally from Edmond, Oklahoma and were high school sweet hearts and both graduated from the University of Oklahoma.  In the summer before their senior year Ryan and Emily were married and then after graduating in 1997 they went with Mission to the World to Japan where they served for one year. 

Covenant College

Campus Minister Bio:
Ron was born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.  He graduated from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania and Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi.  He and his wife Susan moved to Tallahassee, Florida in 1988 to start RUF at Florida State University.  In Tallahassee God blessed Ron and Susan with the birth of their son Chris and daughter Anna Shay.  In 1995 they moved to Crystal River, Florida where Ron was called as the Pastor of Discipleship and Education at Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church.  In 2002 the Brown family moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee where Ron was installed as the Pastor of Education and Discipleship at First Presbyterian Church of Chattanooga.  In 2006 Ron became Campus Minster for RUF at Covenant College.  

Davidson College

Campus Minister Bio:
David Speakman is the campus minister for RUF at Davidson College.  He is a graduate of Davidson College, class of 1996.  After teaching Latin and coaching wrestling and tennis in Nashville for three years, David entered Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO, where he earned a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and has completed his course work for a Master of Theology (Th.M.).  Upon his ordination in the Presbyterian Church in America in the spring of 2003, David, his wife, Margaret Ann, returned to Davidson College to begin this work of RUF on campus.  David and Margaret Ann have three children, Mary Gray, Samuel and Lewis.

Delta State University

Campus Minister Bio:
Seth is originally from Senatobia, MS. After attending Mississippi State University, he began seminary at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS. Seth is married to Julie and they have 2 sons, John Everette and James.

Duke University

Campus Minister Bio:
Will is originally from Ann Arbor, MI and graduated from Duke University in 1997. After graduating from Westminster Theological Seminary (Philadelphia) in 2003, Will began working with RUF and in 2005 returned to his Alma Mater to start a new RUF chapter. Will lives in Durham, NC with his wife, Megan and three sons, Liam, Elliott, and Henry.

East Tennessee State University

Chad grew up in Memphis, TN and graduated from the University of Tennessee (Knoxville) in 2000 with a degree in History.  He also got married that year to Jennifer, whom he met through RUF at UTK.  Chad worked in small business and then served on staff of two local churches before graduating from RTS-Jackson in 2007 with a Master of Divinity.  He loves serving in RUF, a ministry that was huge in his and Jennifer's lives!  Chad and Jennifer have 3 precious children: Amelia, Benjamin and Elliott.

Emory University

Campus Minister Bio:

2009-2010 marks Hunter's fourth year as the campus minister at RUF Emory. Prior to serving with RUF, Hunter earned his PhD from the University of Edniburgh, while also working with Mission to the World (MTW) in Scotland. Hunter married his high school sweetheart, Abbie, in December of 1996. Hunter and Abbie are both originally from Little Rock, Arkansas. The Baileys have two children, Hutch (7) and Nola (5), who absolutely love it when RUF Emory students come to the Bailey house to jump on the trampoline with them.

Florida State University

Campus Minister Bio:
David began working with RUF as the campus minister at Florida State University in the summer of 2004.  He and his wife, Karen, are both graduates of FSU and love the opportunity to continue the ministry of the gospel at their alma mater.  They also delight in their two daughters, Daphne and Alice.  David received his Masters of Divinity degree from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia.

Furman University

Campus Minister Bio:
Tim is a native of Memphis, TN, and a graduate of the University of Tennessee and Reformed Theological Seminary.  He is married to Rosie, originally from Pennsylvania, and they have three children, Ellie (6/03) and Sam (6/05), and Jillian (6/08).

Georgia Southern University

Ro was born and raised in Jackson, MS, and graduated from Mississippi State University in 2005. After graduation, Ro worked for three years as a teacher and coach at a high school in Charleston, SC. He then went to seminary, graduating from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson in 2011, where he worked with college students with RUF at Mississippi College. While in seminary, he met and married Anna Griffith (from Hattiesburg, MS) in July 2010.  Ro and Anna moved to Statesboro in 2011 where Ro is serving at  Georgia Southern as the RUF campus minister. They are enjoying life in the 'boro with their first son on his way in December!

Georgia Tech

Campus Minister Bio:
Aaron is a graduate of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI and Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA. Upon graduation, Aaron and his wife, Amy, started the ministry of RUF at the University of Iowa. They moved to Atlanta, GA in 2006 to start the ministry of RUF at Georgia Tech. Aaron and Amy married in 1999 and have two little girls: Payton, born in 2003, and Sarah, born in 2004.

Georgia Tech - RUFI

Alex is a University of Tennessee graduate and earned a Masters degree from Westminster Seminary. Alex has worked overseas in China and Africa. In addition to his campus work, Alex helps Atlanta churches welcome students from around the world. Alex and his wife Christina have one young daughter. They join RUF International in June, 2010.

Harvard University

Jeremy Mullen grew up in Virginia Beach, VA and graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2003 where he studied English Literature. He served for four years as a Naval Officer before attending Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He is married to Adrienne, whom he met through RUF at Vanderbilt.

Holmes Community College

Jackson State University

Campus Minister Bio:
Elbert is originally from Jackson, Mississippi. He left Jackson in order to attend college at Alabama A & M University (Huntsville, Alabama). He graduated from A & M with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. After working with General Electric Aircraft Engines (Cincinnati, Ohio) for four years, he married his wife Karen and they moved back to Jackson so that he could attend Reformed Theological Seminary. While in Jackson, he served as an intern at Redeemer Church for three years and during his final year of seminary he began laboring at Jackson State University to start RUF. He and Karen have one daughter, Karis, who was born in July of 2006.

Jacksonville University

Campus Minister Bio:
Tommy is the campus minister for RUF at UNF and the Jacksonville metro area. Tommy grew up in Orange Park, FL.  He graduated from Trinity College in New Port Richey, FL, with a B.A. in Biblical Studies. Tommy received his Master's of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL, in 2007. Tommy served at River Ridge Presbyterian Church in youth ministry eight years before moving to Jacksonville to minister to college students.  Tommy enjoys watching football, surfing, playing racquetball, all great movies, playing sports, and Starbucks coffee.  He is married to his wonderful and beautiful wife Nikki and has the coolest daughter Naphtili (Tili). 

Johns Hopkins University

Campus Minister Bio:
After graduating from college with a degree in art, Steven worked as an art director in the advertising industry for nearly four years. During his third year of advertising, his local pastor approached him and asked him to consider volunteering some time with several college students who were attending their local church. At the end of that year Steven was laid off from his job in advertising, and providentially began a new vocation ministering to college students with a parachurch ministry. For six years Steven served students in southcentral Pennsylvania before attending Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelpha. When he graduated from seminary, the Chesapeake Presbytery, PCA called him to minister to students at Towson University with RUF. After six years at Towson University, Steven launched a new RUF ministry at the Johns Hopkins University where he serves today. Steven and his family reside in Baltimore, MD.

Tyler Dirks was born in Dodge City, KS, and is a graduate of Kansas State University. While in college, Tyler was on staff with Young Life, where he worked as the manager of the high ropes course at Crooked Creek Ranch in Fraser Valley Colorado. There he met his wife Carrie (who is from South Carolina). Tyler graduated with his Masters of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC in May of 2007, and took a call to be the Campus Minister for RUF at Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, NC. Tyler and Carrie are the proud parents of Margaret Grace, Henry Lewis and Haven Katelin. Find out more on their blog.

Campus Minister Bio:

Chris Bowen is a native of Chattanooga, TN and a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary. He moved to Kennesaw, GA in July of 2006 to start the ministry of RUF at Kennesaw State. In the spring of 2007, Chris met Jennifer Leck, which after a beautiful story of providence, grace, redemption, and forgiveness were wed on July 11, 2009. This year is his 6th year as the RUF campus minister at Kennesaw State University. They are excited to begin their life together by serving students in Kennesaw.

Lehigh University

Campus Minister Bio:
Scott Mitchell comes to Lehigh from Dallas, Texas, where Scott completed his MDiv from Westminster Theological Seminary (Texas Campus).  After graduating from Texas A&M University with a degree in civil engineering, Scott worked in private practice in Tyler, Texas, until September 2004 when he began to pursue God's calling him into vocational ministry.  While in seminary, Scott continued to work in civil engineering on a part-time basis.  Also during that time, Scott met his wife, Bonnie, in a small group through church, and the two were married in June 2007.  Scott is thrilled to merge his strong engineering background and seminary training to answer the Lord's call on his life in college ministry through RUF at Lehigh.

Louisiana State University (LSU)

Campus Minister Bio:
Josh was born and raised in Greenville, SC.  After attending the University of South Carolina - Spartanburg and Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, Josh accepted a call as RUF Campus Minister at Delta State University in May of 2001.  In June of 2008 he became the RUF Campus Minister at Louisiana State University.

Lynchburg (Liberty, Sweet Briar, Lynchburg College, Central Virginia Community College CVCC, Randolph College)

Campus Minister Bio:
Marc earned a ThM from Dallas Theological Seminary and shortly thereafter began serving as the RUF campus minister at Texas Tech for 7 years.  Now, Marc and Amy Corbett are excited about starting RUF in the city of Lynchburg, VA.   Marc loves home remodeling, reading, playing golf, ebay, coffee, discussing theology, hunting/fishing, and laughing with people. But, he and Amy are most excited about their brand new baby girl, Caroline, born in Feb. of '08!

RUF in Lynchburg serves serveral campuses in the region, including: Liberty, Sweet Briar, Lynchburg College, Central Virginia Community College, CVCC, and Randolph College.

Mercer University

Campus Minister Bio:
Chris "Buck" Rogers is a native of McRae, GA, and attended Mercer University from 1993-1997.  He became a Christian through the Mercer Reformed University Fellowship ministry in 1995.  After graduation, Buck has served as a youth minister, teacher and pastor for over 15 years.  He graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary in 2002 with a Masters of Divinity and was ordained as a PCA teaching elder in 2007.  Buck is married to his college sweetheart Rachel Brown.  They currently live in Macon with their three children, Eli, Rosie, and Sarabelle.

Michigan State

Shawn and Jami were married in 1996 and both grew up in Dallas, Texas. Shawn received a B.A. from Baylor University and a M.Div. from Westminster Seminary, Texas. Jami earned a B.S. in Christian Education from Dallas Baptist University. They are the proud parents of twin daughters Lydia and Naomi born May 2008 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and arrived home January 2009.

Middle Tennessee State University

Campus Minister Bio:
Paul was born and raised in the Atlanta Metro Area.  Paul graduated from Covenant Seminary with an MDIV in 2002 and then moved to Jacksonville, FL to start a new RUF. This is where he met Rachel and they were married soon after.  He and Rachel and their three boys Drew (5/9/04), Josh (6/21/06), and Jake (3/25/08) love being only 2 blocks from MTSU and are very involved in the community of the campus.

Millersville University

Campus Minister Bio:
Rob came to Millersville following his graduation from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, North Caroline.  He's married to Jenny and they have two children, Miram and Gus.  Rob and Jenny love living in Pennsylvania and enjoy exploring the countryside in their spare time.

Mississippi College

Campus Minister Bio:
Joey grew up in Anderson, South Carolina.  He attended high school in Chattanooga, Tennessee at McCallie.  From there he went to Macon, Georgia for college.  It was during his second year at Mercer University that he was converted by God's Spirit thanks, in large part, to Reformed University Fellowship.  After completing his BA he attended Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi, getting his Master's of Divinity. While at seminary Joey had the opportunity to begin a campus work at Mississippi College in nearby Clinton, MS.  While at RTS, Joey married Summer, and they now have three covenant children-Grady, Owen, and Murray.  Joey graduated from RTS in 2001 and was ordained as a teaching elder in the Presbyterian Church in America.  

Mississippi State University

Brian was born and raised in Jackson, MS, and attended Ole Miss
from ’99-’03. After graduation, Brian worked for two years with RUF as an
intern at Auburn.  He married Liza Thompson in the summer of 2005 and
moved to Jackson to attend Reformed Theological Seminary.  While in
seminary, he worked with college students at First Presbyterian Church and
Millsaps College. Their daughter, Shelby, was born in Jackson during the fall
of 2008.  After graduating in the spring of 2009, Brian and Liza moved to
Starkville, MS to work with RUF at Mississippi State University.  Their
second daughter, Annie, was born in October of 2010.

National Autonomous University of Mexico

Campus Minister Bio:
Originally from New Jersey, Peter moved to Texas in 1989 where he finished high school. After graduating from Washington & Lee University with a degree in Psychology in 1996 and from Covenant Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity in 2004, Peter was ordained in the PCA and moved to Mexico City in 2005 to begin an RUF work at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Peter enjoys hanging out at the local café, reading, talking, improving his Spanish, and occasionally getting out on his bike.

New Mexico State University

Sid was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He attended Davidson College in North Carolina. While at Davidson, Sid became a Christian and met Tere, whom he later married. After three years teaching and coaching at a private school near Washington D.C., he moved to Orlando to attend Reformed Theological Seminary. During his time at R.T.S., he worked in a local Presbyterian church, interned with R.U.F. at University of Central Florida, and graduated with a Master of Divinity degree.

North Carolina State University (NCSU)

Northwestern University

Luke is originally from Columbia, MO. He attended the University of Missouri, where he graduated with a degree in philosophy. After college lived in Kenya for a year, volunteering with various missions organizations. He then directed the student ministries at The Crossing in Columbia, MO for three years. He currently lives in Evanston, IL and is completing the final year of his MDiv at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Luke met his wife, Janet, while guiding backpacking trips in Colorado. They were married in 2007, and have one son, Hudson. 

Oklahoma State University

Daniel is originally from Fort Payne, Alabama and still misses the rivers and canyons of his childhood home. He is both an alumni (2001) and huge fan of Auburn University where he met his beautiful wife Taylor. Taylor is a native Texan from Houston and she enjoys all things ballet and her children. The cute little red-head is Lainey, who loves to sing and play animals. The little man is Gaddis, who is extremely active, sweet, and all boy, and the little button is Harper Elizabeth.  Daniel finished his Masters of Divinity @ Redeemer Theological Seminary in Dallas (formerly Westminster). He enjoys playing Ultimate Frisbee, watching college football, discussing theology, or trying to fleece it out (from “The Office”). The Killian family is excited about serving the students of Oklahoma State.

Pennsylvania State University (Penn State)

Campus Minister Bio:
Alex is originally from Lookout Mountain, GA and grew up in the Chattanooga area where he attended The McCallie School for boys.  Alex spent 2 years as an Intern with RUF @ Mercer University in Macon, GA.  He then attended Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA where he received an M.Div.  Alex has been married to his wife Becki for 7 years now, they have 3 little boys: Whit, Miles and William Monroe.

Purdue University

Brian Davis was born and raised in Kansas City, MO.  He attended Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth where he developed a borderline unhealthy love of Horned Frog football (2011 Rose Bowl Champions!).  Upon graduation he and Jeanette got married.  They spent the next five years in Texas where Brian attended Westminster Theological Seminary in Dallas (now Redeemer Seminary) and was on staff at Fort Worth Presbyterian Church.  Jeanette taught preschool until the birth of their first son.  They are very excited to be back in the Midwest working with RUF at Purdue University.  They have three sons:  Jack, who loves Toy Story 3, Cars 2, all things BBQ and dessert, Dustin, who is currently into Toy Story 3 and Cars 2, and Samuel, who spends 99% of his time crawling, sleeping and eating.

Andrew grew up in Mississippi and Memphis and was educated at Ole Miss and Covenant Seminary in St. Louis.  He was an assistant pastor in St. Louis and then led RUF at The University of Memphis for three years.  His wife, Shelley, worked with RUF for five years.

Rice University

Campus Minister Bio:
Originally from Dallas, Texas, Billy is the fourth of five boys. After attending the University of Texas at Austin, Billy served for two years as an RUF intern at Auburn University. Billy followed up his time at Auburn by attending Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi while working with college students at First Presbyterian Church and Millsaps College. Before becoming the RUF Campus Minister at Rice, Billy spent three years teaching and coaching at Providence Christian School of Texas in Dallas. In 2001 Billy married the lovely and talented Ashley Joan Knox of Austin, Texas, and they now have three wonderful children, William, Knox, and Jackson.

Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD)

Campus Minister Bio:
Michael grew up in a two-stoplight town in the middle of Georgia. He was first involved with RUF as a student at Mercer University and then as an RUF intern at the University of Alabama.  After attending Covenant Seminary, laboring on a Falcon farm in Wales, teaching in Ghana, waiting tables, and serving as an Associate Pastor in Saint Louis (02-08), Michael is excited to be back with RUF. He is married to Chris Burkley Gordon and they have three children Elliot, Elsa aka "Bug," and Ezra.

Southern Methodist University

Chad and Jada are originally from Tennessee, and first met as college freshmen at the University of Tennessee.  After graduating from college, they remained at UT where Chad directed a local campus ministry for three years.  They then packed their bags and headed to St. Louis, MO, the home of Covenant Theological Seminary, where Chad worked hard to finish his Masters of Divinity and Jada worked harder as an event planner to put food on the table.  Ministering to college students has been a love of Chad and Jada for many years now, and both are excited about the opportunity that the Lord has now given them to serve students at SMU (since January 2007).  In April 2007, their family grew a little (about 7 pounds) with the birth of their first child, John Randall.  In June 2009, Charlie was born.  They youngest son, Carter was born in December 2010.

Stanford University

Britton grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2001. He served as an RUF intern from 2001-2004 at the University of Tennessee where he met his wife Elizabeth. They went to Covenant Seminary from 2004-2007 and during those short three years had Mary Walton (1.10.05), Shelby (1.10.05), Britton (9.20.06), and Katherine (9.20.06). Britton was called to serve as the campus minister for RUF at the University of South Carolina in the summer of 2007. In the summer of 2011 Britton was called by RUF to Stanford University.

Tennessee Technical University (Tennessee Tech)

Jeff grew up in Los Angeles, California, and then moved to rural Arkansas when he was sixteen years old. After high school, he attended Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas, majoring in Religion. Following graduation from Hendrix, he received a Master’s degree in African-American Religious History and Religious Thought from Vanderbilt University's Divinity School. Toward the end of his time at Vanderbilt, God graciously drew him to Himself. After his years in Nashville, he moved to Philadelphia and attended Westminster Theological Seminary. During his time in Philly, he married Cathy Green (July 7, 1991), whom he had met at Vanderbilt, and they had their first daughter, Micah (June 2, 1995).

From June 1996-May 2004, Jeff served at associate pastor to families and youth at Fort Worth Presbyterian Church. From June 2004-July 2008, Jeff served as RUF campus minister at NC State. And from August 2008-present, Jeff is serving at the RUF campus minister at Tennessee Tech University.

Jeff and Cathy have two other children, Asher (June 29, 1997) and Anna Grace (March 1, 2000).

Texas A&M

Campus Minister Bio:
After serving 4 years with RUF at Hinds Community College near Jackson, MS,  Ben and Beth Hailey are now in College Station, TX serving at Texas A&M University.  Ben is a 2004 graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS.  Ben and Beth both attended Delta State University in Cleveland, MS and both grew up in MS.  They have two children. Hannah (8/12/04) and Nathan (9/26/06). Ben enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting and golf.  Beth loves exercise and sewing.

Paul Miller was born and raised in Salisbury, Maryland. After moving to Dallas with his twin brother in 1996 Texas soon began to feel like home. He graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 2002. In 2003 he met his wife, Laura, who grew up in Dallas and is a graduate of The University of Texas (’01) with a degree in Interior Design. Within 10 months they were married! Paul attended Westminster Theological Seminary (Dallas campus) where he earned his Masters of Divinity (’08). In June of 2008 Paul and Laura headed down to south Texas where they began an RUF chapter at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. They have one beautiful baby boy, Jack, who was born August 10, 2009. Paul and Laura enjoy movies, going to the beach, outdoor activities, and playing with Jack and their dog, Mathis. Paul is attempting to learn how to play golf…a great exercise in sanctification!

Texas Christian University (TCU)

Ryan and Laura are most recently from St. Louis (Laura’s hometown). Ryan is from Franklin, TN and went to college at the University of Tennessee. After finishing college, Ryan worked with a high school ministry back in Franklin before moving to St. Louis to do graduate work at Covenant Theological Seminary. While in St. Louis he met Laura and were soon married. Laura went to Davidson College and has a Master’s in Counseling from Covenant as well. Campus Minister Bio:

Steve hails from Van, Texas and is a graduate of Texas Christian University ('96). He and his wife Kelly (Holton) Percifield met as camp counselors at Camp Ozark and have been married for twelve years. Kelly is an Oklahoma girl and graduated from Vanderbilt University ('96) and Texas Christian University, (M.Ed. '02). Steve and Kelly spent the first eight years of married life in Fort Worth, Texas before making the move to Glenside, PA where Steve recently graduated from Westminster Theological Seminary, (May '08). They have five children, Lillian, Connor, Holt, Ella, and Lucy. Steve will be beginning his third year of ministry at Texas Tech University this fall.

Trinity University

Michael serves as the RUF Campus Minister at Trinity University. Michael and his wife, Rachel, are both originally from Memphis, TN. Michael attended the University of Tennessee - the other UT. While Rachel attended Covenant College in Chattanooga, TN. Before moving to Texas, Michael attended Covenant Theological Seminary (MDiv '10) where he studied the Bible, theology, and counseling.

Michael and Rachel have two children, Caleb (born in 2008) and Abigail (born in 2010). They enjoy being outdoors, taking visits to the zoo, watching movies, and finding unique restaurants to enjoy a good meal. Michael also enjoys running, golf, and college football. Will started the RUF ministry at Tulane in 2010 after receiving his Master of Divinity degree from Westminster Theological Seminary in Dallas. Prior to attending seminary, Will worked as a financial analyst in Memphis after graduating from Vanderbilt Business School and Mississippi State University. Will lives in Uptown New Orleans with his wife Michelle and their dog Riley.

United States Airforce Academy

Jimmy and Vicki were married in May 1969 while students at Phillips University; both graduated in May of 1971. Jimmy received his Master of Divinity from Phillips University Graduate Seminary in 1974 and his Doctor of Ministry in 1995 from Reformed Theological Seminary (Orlando). Jimmy's ministry experience includes six years as a pastor and twenty-three years as a staff representative for The Navigators. During his service with The Navigators, he ministered for three years on the campus of Texas Tech University, two years at Oklahoma State University and seventeen years at the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA). To date, his ministry at the Academy spans more than three decades. Jimmy and Vicki have no greater passion than seeing Air Force Academy cadets and graduates grow in their relationship to the Lord Jesus Christ. In his free time, Jimmy enjoys swimming, motorcycles and shooting sports. The Coveys have two adult children and three

Ryan Moore is from Dayton, TN, a small town just North of Chattanooga. He is a graduate of The Baylor School in Chattanooga, The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and Covenant Theological Seminary in St Louis, MO. On May 27, 2006 he married Ada Appling, now Ada Moore, a native of Memphis, TN.  She graduated from Germantown High School in Germantown, TN, Auburn University, and Covenant Theological Seminary. Ryan is an avid fan of just about everything, he loves reading, movies, music, playing guitar, painting, any outdoor activity, any game (backgammon, poker, bocci ball, etc.), listening to talk radio, and the stock market.

Joe is a native of Birmingham.  He grew up in Mountain Brook, went to college at UAB, and then to seminary at Beeson Divinity School at Samford University, where he graduated in 2007.  He married Melissa in the summer of 2005.  She is a nurse at UAB's hospital in the bone-marrow transplant.  They have a black lab, Knox.  He is awesome.

Ted Wenger began RUF at Arkansas in 2002.  Previously he served as an Assistant Minister at First Presbyterian Church in Jackson, Mississippi after graduating from Reformed Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree in 1999.  He and his lovely wife Melyna have six rambunctious children.

Stephen and Lesley Maginas are from Georgia.  They've known each other since middle school when they both were at a PCA church in Marietta, GA.  Stephen recently graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary with a master of divinity.  Lesley graduated from nursing school at Georgia College and State University and has been serving as an RN for the last six years.  Both Stephen and Lesley came to know the grace of God in the person and work of Jesus Christ as children.  Through God's sovereign direction, they were approached by RUF and MTW to plant the very first RUF/MTW ministry in Athens, Greece.  They will embark upon this venture as soon as all of their support is raised.

University of California - Berkeley

Campus Minister Bio:

Brent started the RUF campus ministry at Berkeley in the fall of 2006. Prior to RUF, Brent served as an Assistant Pastor at City Church of San Francisco. Originally from Greenville, SC, Brent is a graduate of Furman University and received his Master's of Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary in St Louis, Missouri.  Brent met Katie through RUF while she was working in the RUF administrative office.  They were married in April 2010 and are enjoying life in Berkeley with William (Brent’s son).  Brent, Katie and William love family time, hanging out with students and taking advantage of all that the Bay Area has to offer.

University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA)

In 2004 Joe graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in Finance degree that he would never use. For the next year, Joe worked in real estate (back when this was a good idea) while waiting for Tiffany, the love of his life (and he gets big points for putting this in his bio), to finish up school so they could get married. And they did- June 11, 2005. Next up- seminary at RTS Orlando. Two children, an M.Div, and a M.A. in Counseling later, Joe and his family have moved out to the west coast to minister to UCLA students. He is truly graced by the forbearance of a beautiful and passionate wife in Tiffany, as well as an adorable set of opinionated and energetic children in Taylor and Lydia. And all four of them are excited to be in sunny LA!

Jaimeson is a Northern California native.  He grew up in Sunnyvale, CA and did his undergraduate study at the San Jose State University. After teaching and coaching water polo at a private Christian high school, Jaimeson went on to get his Master of Divinity at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.  Jaimeson met his wife Christi as a pastoral intern at Park Cities Presbyterian Church before moving to Santa Barbara to minister to students at UCSB.

Ande grew up in Naples, FL and went to undergrad at UCF to play baseball and to get a degree in Business Administration. While at UCF Ande met his wife Kelly who was studying Communicative Disorders at UCF. After graduation Ande went to Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando. FL to get his M-Div and Kelly stayed at UCF to get her masters. Ande and Kelly have one son (Owen) and one on the way (eta Aug 2010). Ande enjoys most sports, most outdoor activities, most types of cooking, most family, Ireland, and good laughs.

University of Connecticut

Lucas was born in Brazil, but grew up primarily in New Jersey.  He attended Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC where he was first introduced to RUF.  After graduating in 2006, he was an intern with RUF at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville for two years before attending Covenant Seminary in St. Louis, MO.  In 2011, after earning his MDiv, he made his way back to the Northeast to become the campus minister at UConn.  He loves music (playing and listening), traveling (he has visited over a dozen countries), and sports (some playing, but mostly watching).

University of Delaware - RUFI

Rick Gray is a graduate of the University of Delaware and Covenant Seminary. Following seminary, Rick served as youth pastor at Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Newark, DE. Then he joined MTW as a missionary in rural Uganda. While in Uganda, Rick met his wife, Wendy, who was a Bible translator. After 20 years with MTW, Rick joined RUF International in June 2010 to serve on the University Delaware campus. Rick loves welcoming internationals and pointing them to Jesus. He and Wendy have three sons: Grant, Aidan and Chase.

University of Florida

Campus Minister Bio:

Steve is a graduate of Clemson University.  After graduating there he worked as a youth minister and Bible teacher with two PCA churches in South Carolina.  He then went on to Covenant Seminary in St Louis and was ordained in 2003.  He's been at the University of Florida ever since.Steve has been married to his wife Jenna since 1995 and they have two daughters together-- Zoe (born May 2003) and Ali (Born December 2004).

University of Georgia

Justin Clement is the RUF Campus Minister at the University of Georgia.  He formerly served with RUF at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas where he had the privilege of pioneering that work in 2006.  Prior to serving with RUF, Justin served as an Assistant Pastor at Redeemer Presbyterian Church (PCA) for two years.  Before moving to Texas, Justin and his wife, Elizabeth attended Covenant Theological Seminary, where Justin earned his Master of Divinity (‘03).

Justin is a graduate of Samford University(’99) in Birmingham, Alabama and Elizabeth graduated from Meredith College(’98) in Raleigh, North Carolina. Elizabeth and Justin have three beautiful children, John Huss (he goes by both names), who was born June 9, 2004, Gardner, who was born September 13, 2006, and Eliza Jane (we like double names), who was born July 6, 2009.  The Clements enjoy the finer things in life like college sports and look forward to cheering for the bulldogs.   When Justin is not hanging out with students, he might be found in the movie theater or jogging down Milledge Avenue. He is also a self proclaimed expert in 1980’s music and movie trivia.

University of Georgia (UGA) - RUFI

Jeff Thompson has been a campus minister with RUF International at the University of Georgia since 2001. Prior to his campus ministry at UGA, Jeff served with Mission to the World in Japan for almost five years. Jeff is a graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS. Jeff and his wife Caroline have been married for nine years and they have two children, George and Caroline.

University of Houston

Blake was born and raised in Houston, TX. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2003 and finally convinced Ryan Plank to marry him in 2005. Blake returned to the University of Texas a second time to learn Arabic and earn a Master’s in Middle Eastern Studies. Sensing a call to ministry, Blake left the prospect of federal law enforcement and moved to Boston, MA where he attended Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Blake has since made it back to Houston and he and Ryan now have three incredible children, Jacks, Paden, and Mazie.

University of Iowa

Josh has been married to his wife Julie since 2003.  Both Julie and Josh grew up in Quincy, Illinois, just 2 hours south of the University of Iowa.  Josh graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin with his Bachelors degree in 2003 and from Covenant Theological Seminary with his Masters degree in 2008.  Josh loves taking his wife out on dates, eating good food, hanging out with good friends and UIowa students, listening to good music, playing sports of any kind, talking about life and Jesus, having fun, and since January 10, 2010, spending lots of time with his new baby boy, Samuel.

University of Kentucky

Jonathan Davis and his family moved from St. Louis, MO to Lexington, KY in June of 2011 to begin work as the RUF Campus Minister at UK.  While in St. Louis, Jonathan studied at Covenant Theological Seminary and Erin worked in recruiting and chased their little daughter Caroline around the house.  Jonathan and Erin are thrilled to be living in the beautiful bluegrass and thrilled to be a part of the Big Blue Nation!  They love spending time with students, so feel free to contact them to set up a time to get together!

Campus Minister Bio:
Way was born and raised in Meridian, MS, and attended Ole Miss (University of Mississippi) in Oxford from '96-'00.  After graduation, Way worked for three years at Christ Presbyterian Church in Oxford with Junior and Senior High.  Married to Amy Davis in 2002, Way and Amy moved to Jackson, MS, to attend Reformed Theological Seminary and work with Senior High students at First Presbyterian.  After graduation in May of 2007, Way and Amy moved to Louisville, KY, to begin RUF at the University of Louisville.  They have one child, Miles, who was born on June 27, 2008.

University of Maryland

Campus Minister Bio:
Chris Garriott grew up in the Baltimore area and graduated from Geneva College with a degree in Civil Engineering. After five years working in engineering he enrolled at Covenant Theological Seminary graduating with a Master of Divinity  in 1996. From here he taught Bible and coached baseball at Westminster Christian Academy in St.Louis and then was a youth minister in Oklahoma City until 2006 when the Lord called him back to Maryland to work with RUF at the University of Maryland.  Chris is an avid sports fan, loves to take road trips, play the guitar and engage students with the Gospel.

Johnathan Keenan is originally from Hereford, TX and a graduate from the University of Mississippi (97'-01'). After his time at Ole Miss, he moved to Inverness, Scotland to serve as a youth minister in Smithton-Culloden Free Church for three and half years. In the summer of 2007, Johnathan moved to Charlotte, NC to attend RTS. While at RTS he worked as a TA for Dr. Douglas Kelly and served as a pastoral intern at Christ Covenant under Mike Ross. After graduating RTS  in May of 2010, he moved back to Scotland to pursue ministry in the Free Church and work on a Masters in Scottish Theology under the supervision of Professor Donald Macleod. However, in May 2011 the LORD redirected his steps to Memphis to work with RUF. 

University of Minnesota

Campus Minister Bio:
Chad became a Christian during college while at Shippensbug University in Pennyslvania.  After his conversion, he knew the Lord was leading him to campus ministry and went to Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis. Following seminary, he spent 5 years as RUF Campus Minister at the University of Missouri.  In 2003, he moved to State College, Pennsylvania to begin the RUF ministry at Penn State University.  Chad is now in the Twin Cities of Minnesota to help plant a PCA church in the cities and begin the work of RUF at the University of Minnesota.

University of Mississippi (Ole Miss)

Jason graduated from Samford University in 1997 with a degree in Secondary Education. After graduation he spent three years in pharmaceutical sales and graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary Orlando with a Master of Divinity degree in 2005. His wife, Susie, graduated from Samford in 2000 with a degree in Human Development & Family Studies and earned a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies degree from Reformed Theological Seminary Orlando in 2003. After 6 years of ministering with Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) at Samford University, Jason and Susie moved their family to Oxford, MS where Jason has been called to serve as the next RUF Campus Minister at Ole Miss. The Sterlings have three daughters, Kate, Elizabeth, and Anne Wright and are expecting their fourth daughter in September. 

University of Missouri

Campus Minister Bio:
Rev. Ross Dixon is a graduate of Auburn University and later Covenant Theological Seminary, where he earned his Master of Divinity degree in 2003.  Ross' favorite thing is time with his family.  After that are running, swimming, movies, books, and coffee.  And chess.  He wants to be good at golf, but he is not. Ross is married to Jenny, full-time mommy to their daughter, Avery, and part-time Physical Therapist.

University of Nebraska

Campus Minister Bio:

Steve began as RUF Campus Minister at the University of Nebraska in June 2008. Steve received his undergraduate degree from The University of Nebraska and his Masters of Divinity (M.Div.) from Covenant Theological Seminary in May of 2007. Steve is husband to his wonderful wife Jennifer who received her undergraduate degree in Nursing from the University of Nebraska and her Graduate Certificate in Theological Studies from Covenant Theological Seminary in May of 2007. They enjoy caring for their precious daughter Amelia (2) (who has special needs) and their son Miles (1). Steve enjoys running, reading, design and watching most things Discovery Channel. (He secretly believes that someday he will find himself in a dicey situation that will require mad surviving skills). Jen enjoys her job as a Registered Nurse, works hard at caring for Amelia, and making copious amounts of food for whomever walks through the front door. Amelia enjoys bright colors and singing. She preaches us the gospel daily through her quiet yet bright disposition. Miles is the tender lion- full of energy and laughter.

University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill

Campus Minister Bio:
Daniel was born in Valley, AL and raised in Columbus, GA his whole life. He graduated from Auburn University in 2000.  After graduation he was on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ for 5 years; 2 years in China and 3 years at the University of Alabama. He attended Reformed Theological Seminary from 2005-2008. During those 3 years he served as the Pastoral Intern at a church plant, Christ Kingdom Church, in Orlando, FL.

University of North Carolina (UNC) - Charlotte

After working for JP Morgan and the NYU School of Law, Omari left his home of New York City and became a graduate of The Criswell College (2003) and Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte (2009). He married Cherise, a native of Jamaica and a graduate of New York University in July of 2004. During their five years in Charlotte, Cherise has served as a dance teacher for Wilson Middle School (CMS) and the NoDa School of Arts and Omari served as a ruling elder at Christ Central Church. They have experience serving teens and young adults both on the campus and in the local church. Omari and Cherise love eating out with friends, getting people hooked on scary movies, traveling, enjoying performing arts and watching intense shows like 24. Their biggest passion is raising their first child, Mia Simone. Omari is starting a new work at UNCC and hopes to gather and serve a multi-cultural community with the gospel of the kingdom.

University of North Florida

Tommy is the campus minister for RUF at UNF and the Jacksonville metro area. Tommy grew up in Orange Park, FL.  He graduated from Trinity College in New Port Richey, FL, with a B.A. in Biblical Studies. Tommy received his Master's of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL, in 2007. Tommy served at River Ridge Presbyterian Church in youth ministry eight years before moving to Jacksonville to minister to college students.  Tommy enjoys watching football, surfing, playing racquetball, all great movies, playing sports, and Starbucks coffee.  He is married to his wonderful and beautiful wife Nikki and has the coolest daughter Naphtili (Tili).

University of Oklahoma

Rev. Justin Westmoreland is our RUF Campus Minister at the University of Oklahoma. Justin grew up in Sherwood, Arkansas, and attended college at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX, where he received a degree in Mechanical Engineering with BioMedical Specialization. Through his involvement with RUF at SMU and attendance at Park Cities Presbyterian Church, he discovered the beautiful ways in which reformed theology best articulates the precious truths of scripture. Post-college, he served two years as a youth minister at a PCA church in Knoxville, TN where he met his wife, Meredith. Justin graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC, and after interning at Ballantyne Presbyterian Church, was called to be the RUF campus minister at the University of Tennessee - Martin from 2006-2011. Justin loves sports, especially college football. He also loves to eat, and, as a result, his other hobby is running. One “did you know” fact about Justin: he was once mistaken for a Super Bowl quarterback in a Charlotte, NC post office. Justin is taking a break from his lifelong quest of cheering for the Arkansas Razorbacks in every SEC stadium to learn and teach his children the OU fight song, "Boomer Sooner!" 

Justin and Meredith were married in June, 2003. Meredith is a native of Montgomery, AL. She attended the University of Montevallo for undergrad and the University of Tennessee for grad school. Meredith is a speech-language pathologist, but is currently taking time off to be a stay-at-home mom to the Westmorelands' small children -- Knox (born January '07), Owen (June '08), and Grace (November '09).  Meredith loves traveling, running, shopping (especially at Target), blogging, and keeping up with and spending time with friends and family.

University of Pittsburgh (Pitt)

Campus Minister Bio:
Derek grew up in rural Virginia, graduated from James Madison University and Covenant Theological Seminary, and is the campus minister of RUF at the University of Pittsburgh. He enjoys sports and literature, and can be found in coffee shops all over Oakland.

Luda is a graduate of Saint Louis University, having attained three degrees while studying in three different countries. She speaks a multitude of languages and may well be a spy. She enjoys thinking about gardening more than actually doing it, reading and cooking- particularly for others.

Caleb is still little and has no major accomplishments. We love him anyway...very much so.

University of South Alabama

Lanier and Leslie both graduated from Furman University but are Alabama natives.  Lanier grew up in Birmingham, AL and following seminary they returned to Birmingham where Lanier served as an Assistant Pastor at Cross Creek Church.  Leslie is a Mobile native and is excited about being back home. They have two children, Camille (3) and Nier Nier Jr. (2). After serving at Cross Creek the Wood's had a desire and longing to be ministering with college students.  They had previously been campus interns with RUF at UGA, where they had first learned and grown this desire.  They are excited to be at South Alabama now, where the Football team doesn't loose, the seafood is fresh, and where they can love Students.  

University of South Carolina

Sammy is originally from Sumter, SC. He graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2002, then Reformed Theological Seminary (Charlotte) in 2006. He has been the Campus Minister at GSU since the Fall of 2006. He, his wife Alyssa, and their four children, Jayne Mac, Asher, Eloise, and Sadie. In the summer of 2011, Sammy was called by RUF to the University of South Carolina. 

University of South Florida

University of Southern Mississippi

Campus Minister Bio:
Ben grew up in Ruston, Louisiana but has lived in Mississippi since beginning at Ole Miss in 1998. He went on to Seminary at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi during which time he met his wife Marianna while they both worked in youth ministry there.   He accepted the call as RUF Campus Minister to The University Southern Mississippi in 2008.  Ben and Marianna got married in 2008 as well. Ben enjoys golf, sports, outdoors, and road trips with his wife.

Campus Minister Bio:
Brent has been the RUF Campus Minister at UTK since 2004.  Originally from Memphis, he graduated from Ole Miss, however, even then he cheered for the Vols.  Upon graduation, Brent returned to Memphis to work with junior and senior high school students.  Subsequently, he moved to St. Louis for graduate school to study the Bible, theology and counseling.  While in St. Louis, he fell in love with the Cardinals, the city, authentic Italian food, and, most importantly, his wife, Emily.  They have two children, William and Abigial.

John Craft grew up in Memphis, TN.  After graduating from Vanderbilt University, where he studied philosophy and film studies, he moved to Athens, GA to complete a two year internship with RUF at the University of Georgia.  While doing intern training, he met his wife Leigh, who was an RUF intern at Winthrop University.  After they got married, John and Leigh moved to St. Louis, MO to attend Covenant Theological Seminary.  After graduating and doing some college ministry in St. Louis, John and Leigh moved to Chattanooga in 2007 to do RUF.  John and Leigh have two children, William and Lizzie, and one great dog, Sadie.

Lee Leadbetter is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and Covenant Seminary. Before seminary, Lee directed the youth ministries at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in McKinney, TX. After seminary, he and his family served as short-term missionaries in Romania with the PCA. Upon their return to the U.S. in 2006, Lee worked as a pastoral intern for Redeemer Church of Knoxville, and started an RUF International ministry at the University of Tennessee in January, 2008. Lee and his wife Jennifer have two children, Daniel and Phillip.

University of Tennessee - Martin

Dawson Bean has been the RUF Campus Minister UT-Martin since 2011, and has worked in campus ministry since 2001 at Louisiana State University, Lindenwood University, and now UT-Martin. Dawson graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. College was a tremendous time of growth for Dawson, durring which he discovered reformed theology and came to love the ways it summarizes the amazing truths of scripture. Dawson also met his wife Shanna during college through their mutual involvement in campus ministry at Texas Tech. Post-college, they served together on staff with Campus Crusade for four years at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. Dawson graduated from Covenant Theological Seminary in Saint Louis with his Master of Divinity, and came to be the campus minister at UT-Martin in 2011. Dawson loves both SEC and Big 12 football, hunting and fishing, and time with Shanna and their kids.  They have three human children- Joshua Stephen, Caleb, and Mary Beth, and their beloved 5 lb. yapper Beauregard Bean.

Though a graduate of Texas State, Derek began his college career at the University of Texas, where he met his future wife, Joy, and where they were a part of the first class of RUF at UT. After working for 10 years in the advertising and real estate fields, Derek and Joy moved to St. Louis to attend Covenant Seminary, where Derek graduated in 2009. Derek and Joy have three children–Virginia, Hampton, and Anderson.

Jeff Jordan is the campus minister for RUF at both the University of Texas at Tyler (UTT) and Tyler Junior College (TJC).  Jeff grew up in Jackson, MS, and recieved his undergraduate degree in English from Mississippi State University. Jeff married Dominique, a native Texan, in June 2002, and then attended Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS till he graduated with an M.Div. in May '06.  Dominique Jordan graduated from Southern Methodist University and worked with RUF at Mississippi State University for 3 years as an intern, and currently has her hands full with their three boys, Jeffrey, Wells, Henry, and a fourth baby due Sept. 30th

The Rev. Brent Corbin came to Tulsa in the summer of 2010 after having graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC in May 2010. Brent was born and raised in Duncan, OK and graduated from the University of Oklahoma in May 2003. After a short stint in commercial banking (which included working in Tulsa, oddly enough), he left Oklahoma and moved to Nashville, TN where he worked as an RUF intern for 2 years at Vanderbilt University. While at Vanderbilt, he met (his future wife) Sarah, who was then in graduate school for Physical Therapy at Belmont University. After marrying in May 2006, Brent and Sarah moved to Charlotte, NC and shortly thereafter Brent began seminary and Sarah began working as an outpatient Physical Therapist at a large healthcare system. God graced the Corbin's with Nora Kline in April 2009, and they have loved being with her ever since!

University of Utah

Bryce Hales grew up in Laguna Beach, California and has spent most of his life between Santa Barbara and San Diego. He completed his B.A. in Religious Studies from Westmont College and his M.Div. from The University of Glasgow in Scotland. He was ordained in the PCA in 2007 and has served as a pastor in Pasadena and San Diego before re-starting RUF at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City in 2009.

He met his wife, Ashley, when they were in high school and they married shortly after graduating from college. They have two little boys, Ezra and Porter. Though once a surfer, now Bryce is an avid skier, enjoys hiking in the summer and can be found most days working at local coffee shops.

Shawn graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Biological Sciences.  He spent about a year working for an architecture firm as the "office jester" before serving as the youth director at Clemson Presbyterian Church until moving to St. Louis, MO to attend Covenant Theological Seminary in 1999.  He graduated in 2002 and was ordained as the the Assistant Pastor of The Covenant Presbyterian Church in St. Louis, MO.In the Spring of 2005 the Presbyterian Church in America called him to move to Charlottesville in order to serve the students at the University of Viriginia. He is blessed with a fantabulous wife, Jennifer and three children (William-9; Mary Austin-6; and Annabel 3).

Ryan and Amy both attended New Mexico State University, joined RUF as students, and earned degrees in Business. After discerning a call to the ministry, Ryan attended Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis and then he and Amy headed West to continue their service in God's Kingdom through RUF. Stacey and Megan are Texans and met while at Baylor University. After graduation, Stacey became the youth director at Christ the King Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Houston, TX in 1998, where Megan and Stacey were married in 1999. Then in 2000 they moved to Dallas, where Stacey was the youth director at Park Cities Presbyterian Church (PCA). In 2002, they relocated to Jackson, Mississippi, where Stacey received his Masters of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary. In 2005, Stacey was called to RUF at Vanderbilt, and they have loved life in Nashville ever since. Stacey and Megan are joyful parents of Jake, born February of 2010.

Andy Wood is a graduate of Virginia Tech, receiving a degree in Business Management in 1999.  He served as the youth pastor at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Richmond, VA for five years before heading to Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO.  After graduating with a M.Div. in December 2007, he moved to Raleigh, NC to be an Associate Pastor at Redeemer  Presbyterian  Church.  He was called by the Presbyterian Church in America to by the RUF Campus Minister at Virginia Tech in June 2011. 

He married Amy, a graduate of Texas Christian University, in August of 2003.  They have  3 children- 2  energetic  boys,  Josiah and Cooper, and sweet Sadie Jane, the newest addition to the family.  They love spending time outdoors, running, reading, being with friends, and rooting for the Hokies and the St. Louis Cardinals.  Andy also enjoy bluegrass and playing the guitar and mandolin.

Kevin Teasley is the campus minister for RUF at Wake Forest University.  He is a graduate of University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO.  Prior to coming to serve as the RUF campus minister at Wake Forest, he was the RUF campus minister at Tennessee Tech University for 6 years.  Kevin is married to Rosie, and they have three children.  Kennedy is 8, Micah is 6, and Molly Jane is 3.  Besides spending time with the family, Kevin enjoys being on the golf course, following Demon Deacs and Ole Miss sports, and his new-found passion, fly-fishing!

A native of Sumter, SC, Jeff first got involved with RUF as an undergrad at Clemson University. After graduating from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte in 2003, he was called as the full-time campus minister for RUF at Winthrop University. Jeff met his wonderful wife Tracey (also a SC native!) on March 11, 2000 on a blind date in Greenville (where she taught third grade) ... ten months later, they were married! Upon graduation, he went on staff with Athletes in Action’s soccer program for two years. Following that time was a two year stint in the business world doing Marketing and IT. After graduating from Covenant Theological Seminary in 2010, he was called as the Campus Minister for RUF at Wofford College. He is blessed to have an incredible wife, BeCa, who has an expansive background in relational ministry."

Kevin Nelson has served as campus minister at Yale since 2008. He holds graduate degrees from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando and Duke University. Aside from meeting with college students and serving as assistant pastor at Christ Presbyterian Church in New Haven, he is an avid baseball fan and a classic-movie buff. He and his wife Christie have one daughter, Kyra.

Alabama A&M

Roy grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana where he was one of 5 children. From there he attended Louisiana State University where he earned a degree in Elementary Education. While at LSU, he was involved with RUF and was a member of South Baton Rouge Presbyterian (PCA). In July of 2005, he began the Masters of Divinity degree at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson and finished in May of 2008. While in seminary, Roy married Emily Chapman of Starkville, Mississippi in March of 2007. They have one daughter, Iris, and a son, Jonas.

Anderson University

Campus Minister Bio: John Boyte is a graduate of Clemson University where he earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering (1987). He has had sixteen hours of graduate course work in Recreation Administration also from Clemson University. John has worked with youth as a lay minister directing and teaching the Junior High Youth at Peoples Bible Church in Greenville, SC (1988-1992) and the Senior High at the Evangelical Church of Bangkok in Bangkok, Thailand (1992-1993). He was involved with teaching Sunday School and assisting with the youth at New Covenant before joining the staff in 1996. He finished the MDiv at Erskine Seminary and is ordained as a Teaching Elder in the PCA Church. He married his wife, Cheryl in 1987. They have three children, J.J., Casey, and Caleb. John served as Associate Pastor of New Covenant Church for twelve years and has been the RUF Campus Minister at Anderson University for tweleve years where since January 2008 he has served full time.

Appalachian State University

Matt Howell is a graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC. He grew up in Dallas, TX and graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2003 where he studied Philosophy and Communication. After graduation, Matt served as an intern with RUF at Louisiana State University for two years where he developed a heart for college students. It was during his internship that he met and married the RUF intern at Emory University, Kathryn, who hails from Memphis, TN and studied Religious Studies at Washington and Lee. After his stay in Bayou Country and following their wedding, Matt and Kathryn Howell moved to Charlotte for seminary. He loves to read, listen to and make music, play basketball, and win at board games.

Arizona State

Jason (from Houston, TX) and Tiffany (from Gridley, CA) met and married in Phoenix near the turn of the century at Grand Canyon University. Just over a decade later, they are happy to be back in the Valley of the Sun and excited to work with RUF at ASU. Jason completed his M.Div at Westminster Theological Seminary in Dallas (now Redeemer Seminary) while simultaneously working at the school. Tiffany is the greatest chef in the universe and a stay at home mom for the 4 rambunctious Bobo children: Cason, Justus, Shaylee, and Garrison.

Auburn University

Richard and Amy with children Thompson, Betsy, and Paul have worked with RUF at Auburn since 2001.  As former students and interns with RUF, Richard and Amy enjoy sharing the love of Christ through a ministry that God has used in their lives.  Whether preaching and leading, talking over a cup of coffee, or playing football or cheerleader in the front yard with their "college friends", the Vise family knows what a privilege it is to serve Christ in this way.

Shaynor was born and grew up in Dallas, TX, and then attended Baylor University where he earned a B.S. in Biology.  After five years as a Residence Hall Director at Baylor he went on to attend Truett Theological Seminary.  He married Heather Crosslin, also a Baylor grad, in 1994, and they have a son, Jonathan and a daughter, Violet.

Belhaven University

Chad and Kelly have been married for 8 years and have three beautiful children: Wyatt, Raney, and Holden.  They both grew up in Mississippi where Chad attended Belhaven University and Kelly attended Mississippi College.  Having met and been established in Mississippi, they attended RTS in Jackson. They began in RUF at Hinds Community College from '08-'11 and are now serving the campus and community and Belhaven University.

Belmont University

Campus Minister Bio:

Kevin, a graduate Berklee College of Music (1986) and Covenant Theological Seminary (1995), began work at Belmont in 1995 after a career in the music industry. His work with RUF led to the creation of "Indelible Grace Music" (www.igracemusic.com) which has produced a number of CDs of old hymns set to new music. Kevin is married to Wendy and they have three children, Cooper, Isaac, and Amelia (whom they adopted from China in 2005.) He enjoys music, disc golf, and collecting old books.

Birmingham Southern College

Campus Minister Bio:
Tom is the RUF Campus Minister at Birmingham Southern College.  He is husband to Kristin Forney Franklin who graduated from the University of Alabama and works for the American Cancer Society.   Tom and Kristin were married in 2006. Tom graduated from BSC in 1999 and went on to work in the Admission Office at BSC after graduation. While in college he was a member of the baseball team, part of the esteemed Residence Life staff, and between school and work was on campus for seven years. He then went to seminary at Covenant Theological Seminary, and graduated with a Masters of Divinity (M.Div.) in May of 2005. Their interests include: their dog Chelsea, travelling, to the beach, UNO, BSC baseball, Alabama football, Texas Longhorn football, cooking, golf, and American Idol.

Bloomington Church Plant

Dan and Erica grew up in Champaign, IL and met in high school. They both came to Christ in 1997 while undergrads—Dan at Illinois State University and Erica at the University of Illinois. In 2000 they graduated, were married, and moved to St. Louis where Dan taught high school history among at risk students and Erica completed her Master’s in Physical Therapy from Washington University, where she will complete her doctorate in 2012. In 2002 Dan joined staff with Great Commission Ministries and served as a GCM campus minister at the University of Illinois until beginning at Covenant Seminary in 2007 where they joined the congregation of Kirk of the Hills PCA. The Herrons are currently in Indianapolis where Dan is completing a church planting apprenticeship with the Central Indiana Presbytery at Redeemer PCA while preparing to begin a call as a PCA church planter to Bloomington in the Fall of 2012 alongside an RUF campus minister. Dan and Erica love cooking, cycling, running, rooting for the Fighting Illini, and loving on their three beautiful children: Alex, Gabriel, and Isabel.

Boise State University

Brian and Gail are natives of Georgia and Tennessee, respectively, and are graduates of the University of Georgia, where they met through their involvement with RUF and the local church (and through playing lots of Frisbee).  After college (and a year of carpentry work for Brian), they got married and served as interns with RUF at the University of Missouri for a couple of years, and then moved to Philadelphia, where Brian earned a Masters of Divinity from Westminster Theological Seminary.

Brian and Gail love outdoor recreation – especially hiking, biking, canoeing, and Frisbee – and their favorite things to do in Boise include walking in the foothills, biking on the Greenbelt, floating the river, and watching games on the ‘Smurf Turf.’

Campus Minister Bio:

Eddie graduated with his MDiv and ThM from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, in May 2006. During his time in seminary, he served in RUFBrown as a seminarian staff, where he courted Annie, who was also an intern in RUFBrown. Annie and he were married on May 4, 2007. Eddie was ordained in November 2007, to be campus minister at RUFBrown.  RUF Brown serves students at Brown, the Rhode Island School of Design, and other Providence area schools.

An alumni of Carson-Newman College, he graduated in 2002. After serving in the College Ministry at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church in Knoxville, he went on to Reformed Theological Seminary - Orlando, graduating in 2006. He served as an Assistant Pastor at Second Presbyterian Church in Memphis, TN for some years before accepting the call to start an RUF at Carson-Newman. Wes is an avid hunter and fisherman - and he loves the outdoors of East Tennessee.

Wes married his wife Nancy in 2003. She graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2003, is from Chattanooga, and is a great cook! Wes and Nancy have a two beautiful little girls, Emily Anne, who was born in September 2008 and Katherine Grace who was born in May 2011.

Christopher Newport University

Dave was born in Charleston, SC but grew up in Greenwood, SC. While attending Presbyterian College (home of the mighty Blue Hose), he met his wife Rebecca at Camp Greystone in Tuxedo, NC. Rebecca, a graduate of Ole Miss, could not resist Dave's southern charm and agreed to marry him in October of 2003. After a few years of full time work at Greystone, Dave and Rebecca moved to Charlotte, NC to attend Reformed Theological Seminary where Dave received his Masters of Divinity. In the summer of 2010 RUF hired Dave to serve as the campus minister at CNU which brought great joy to Dave's heart. Dave and Rebecca have a 2 year old son named Stokes, an over-sized dog and an under-sized cat. Dave enjoys playing golf (with clubs or frisbees), camping, fishing, and writing about himself in third person.

City Campus Ministry (New York City)

After graduating from Vanderbilt University and working in both London and New York, Michael attended Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary where he received an M.Div and a Th.M in Apologetics. During his five years in Boston, Michael served at Citylife Presbyterian Church as an Assistant Pastor in charge of both Community Life and the School of Christian Formation. He has been happily married to his wife for eight years. She will tell you she is better at basketball then her husband, and she is probably right.

Stephen was born in Camden, SC, and after graduating from Clemson University in 1993 and from Covenant Seminary in 1998, has served with RUF at Clemson.  Stephen and his wife, Rebekah, have three children--Kathryn, Connor, and Paul.

Clemson University - RUFI

Rick Brawner graduated from ClemsonUniversity. After Rick graduated from seminary, he worked five years in campus ministry at the University of Michigan and EasternMichiganUniversity. In 1989, he returned to his home state of South Carolina to begin the RUF International ministry at ClemsonUniversity.  Rick has served 20 years with RUF International.  Rick met his wife Beth while in seminary. They have three children, Andrew, Philip and Melody. Rick reaches and equips international students through evangelism, Bible study, discipleship, and fellowship in the local PCA church. 

College of Charleston (CofC)

Campus Minister Bio:
The Clark family is absolutely thrilled to be working through RUF at the College of Charleston! Danny grew up in McLean, Virginia and went to James Madison University. There he studied Art History and Religion. There he also met his bride, Aspa Christodoulou (how's that for a last name?). Aspa was born and raised in Richmond, Virigina. Her background is Greek Orthodox and she became a believer in college. They have been married for seven years and have one son named Coleman. Danny recently graduated from Covenant Theological Seminary with a Master's Degree in Divinity. His main passions in life include studying the depth and breadth of Scripture, teaching others about redemptive history, playing, watching, and reading all things sports, not to mention exposing worldviews using culture and movies. Aspa enjoys novels, theology, and cooking for massive amounts of people. Coleman loves trains, digging holes, and telling non sequitur jokes.

College of William and Mary

Campus Minister Bio:
Ben grew up in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  He met Dawn working as a camp counselor in college, immediately fell madly in love with her and after much persistence persuaded her to be his wife.  After a few years in youth ministry they moved to St. Louis, MO to attend Covenant Theological Seminary where Ben received his Masters of Divinity.  In the summer of 2006 RUF hired Ben to serve as the campus minister at William & Mary much to Ben's delight.  Ben and Dawn have since added two to their family, Naomi and Benjamin.  Ben enjoys good music, good books, the great outdoors, good movies, some good TV shows, and most things cultural and pop cultural.  He does not typically write about himself in the third person, but has been known to do so on occasion.

Colorado State University

Campus Minister Bio:
Ryan is married to Emily and they have Grayson, Coleman, and Meredith.  The Bakers came to Colorado State in the fall of 2006 after graduating from Covenant Seminary in St. Louis. Ryan and Emily are originally from Edmond, Oklahoma and were high school sweet hearts and both graduated from the University of Oklahoma.  In the summer before their senior year Ryan and Emily were married and then after graduating in 1997 they went with Mission to the World to Japan where they served for one year. 

Covenant College

Campus Minister Bio:
Ron was born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.  He graduated from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania and Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi.  He and his wife Susan moved to Tallahassee, Florida in 1988 to start RUF at Florida State University.  In Tallahassee God blessed Ron and Susan with the birth of their son Chris and daughter Anna Shay.  In 1995 they moved to Crystal River, Florida where Ron was called as the Pastor of Discipleship and Education at Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church.  In 2002 the Brown family moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee where Ron was installed as the Pastor of Education and Discipleship at First Presbyterian Church of Chattanooga.  In 2006 Ron became Campus Minster for RUF at Covenant College.  

Davidson College

Campus Minister Bio:
David Speakman is the campus minister for RUF at Davidson College.  He is a graduate of Davidson College, class of 1996.  After teaching Latin and coaching wrestling and tennis in Nashville for three years, David entered Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO, where he earned a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and has completed his course work for a Master of Theology (Th.M.).  Upon his ordination in the Presbyterian Church in America in the spring of 2003, David, his wife, Margaret Ann, returned to Davidson College to begin this work of RUF on campus.  David and Margaret Ann have three children, Mary Gray, Samuel and Lewis.

Seth is originally from Senatobia, MS. After attending Mississippi State University, he began seminary at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS. Seth is married to Julie and they have 2 sons, John Everette and James.

Duke University

Will is originally from Ann Arbor, MI and graduated from Duke University in 1997. After graduating from Westminster Theological Seminary (Philadelphia) in 2003, Will began working with RUF and in 2005 returned to his Alma Mater to start a new RUF chapter. Will lives in Durham, NC with his wife, Megan and three sons, Liam, Elliott, and Henry.

East Tennessee State University

Chad grew up in Memphis, TN and graduated from the University of Tennessee (Knoxville) in 2000 with a degree in History.  He also got married that year to Jennifer, whom he met through RUF at UTK.  Chad worked in small business and then served on staff of two local churches before graduating from RTS-Jackson in 2007 with a Master of Divinity.  He loves serving in RUF, a ministry that was huge in his and Jennifer's lives!  Chad and Jennifer have 3 precious children: Amelia, Benjamin and Elliott.

Emory University

Campus Minister Bio:

2009-2010 marks Hunter's fourth year as the campus minister at RUF Emory. Prior to serving with RUF, Hunter earned his PhD from the University of Edniburgh, while also working with Mission to the World (MTW) in Scotland. Hunter married his high school sweetheart, Abbie, in December of 1996. Hunter and Abbie are both originally from Little Rock, Arkansas. The Baileys have two children, Hutch (7) and Nola (5), who absolutely love it when RUF Emory students come to the Bailey house to jump on the trampoline with them.

Florida State University

Campus Minister Bio:
David began working with RUF as the campus minister at Florida State University in the summer of 2004.  He and his wife, Karen, are both graduates of FSU and love the opportunity to continue the ministry of the gospel at their alma mater.  They also delight in their two daughters, Daphne and Alice.  David received his Masters of Divinity degree from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia.

Ro was born and raised in Jackson, MS, and graduated from Mississippi State University in 2005. After graduation, Ro worked for three years as a teacher and coach at a high school in Charleston, SC. He then went to seminary, graduating from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson in 2011, where he worked with college students with RUF at Mississippi College. While in seminary, he met and married Anna Griffith (from Hattiesburg, MS) in July 2010.  Ro and Anna moved to Statesboro in 2011 where Ro is serving at  Georgia Southern as the RUF campus minister. They are enjoying life in the 'boro with their first son on his way in December!

Campus Minister Bio:
Aaron is a graduate of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI and Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA. Upon graduation, Aaron and his wife, Amy, started the ministry of RUF at the University of Iowa. They moved to Atlanta, GA in 2006 to start the ministry of RUF at Georgia Tech. Aaron and Amy married in 1999 and have two little girls: Payton, born in 2003, and Sarah, born in 2004.

Alex is a University of Tennessee graduate and earned a Masters degree from Westminster Seminary. Alex has worked overseas in China and Africa. In addition to his campus work, Alex helps Atlanta churches welcome students from around the world. Alex and his wife Christina have one young daughter. They join RUF International in June, 2010.

Harvard University

Jeremy Mullen grew up in Virginia Beach, VA and graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2003 where he studied English Literature. He served for four years as a Naval Officer before attending Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He is married to Adrienne, whom he met through RUF at Vanderbilt.

Holmes Community College

Jackson State University

Campus Minister Bio:
Elbert is originally from Jackson, Mississippi. He left Jackson in order to attend college at Alabama A & M University (Huntsville, Alabama). He graduated from A & M with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. After working with General Electric Aircraft Engines (Cincinnati, Ohio) for four years, he married his wife Karen and they moved back to Jackson so that he could attend Reformed Theological Seminary. While in Jackson, he served as an intern at Redeemer Church for three years and during his final year of seminary he began laboring at Jackson State University to start RUF. He and Karen have one daughter, Karis, who was born in July of 2006.

Jacksonville University

Campus Minister Bio:
Tommy is the campus minister for RUF at UNF and the Jacksonville metro area. Tommy grew up in Orange Park, FL.  He graduated from Trinity College in New Port Richey, FL, with a B.A. in Biblical Studies. Tommy received his Master's of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL, in 2007. Tommy served at River Ridge Presbyterian Church in youth ministry eight years before moving to Jacksonville to minister to college students.  Tommy enjoys watching football, surfing, playing racquetball, all great movies, playing sports, and Starbucks coffee.  He is married to his wonderful and beautiful wife Nikki and has the coolest daughter Naphtili (Tili). 

Johns Hopkins University

Campus Minister Bio:
After graduating from college with a degree in art, Steven worked as an art director in the advertising industry for nearly four years. During his third year of advertising, his local pastor approached him and asked him to consider volunteering some time with several college students who were attending their local church. At the end of that year Steven was laid off from his job in advertising, and providentially began a new vocation ministering to college students with a parachurch ministry. For six years Steven served students in southcentral Pennsylvania before attending Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelpha. When he graduated from seminary, the Chesapeake Presbytery, PCA called him to minister to students at Towson University with RUF. After six years at Towson University, Steven launched a new RUF ministry at the Johns Hopkins University where he serves today. Steven and his family reside in Baltimore, MD.

Tyler Dirks was born in Dodge City, KS, and is a graduate of Kansas State University. While in college, Tyler was on staff with Young Life, where he worked as the manager of the high ropes course at Crooked Creek Ranch in Fraser Valley Colorado. There he met his wife Carrie (who is from South Carolina). Tyler graduated with his Masters of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC in May of 2007, and took a call to be the Campus Minister for RUF at Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, NC. Campus Minister Bio:

Chris Bowen is a native of Chattanooga, TN and a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary. He moved to Kennesaw, GA in July of 2006 to start the ministry of RUF at Kennesaw State. In the spring of 2007, Chris met Jennifer Leck, which after a beautiful story of providence, grace, redemption, and forgiveness were wed on July 11, 2009. This year is his 6th year as the RUF campus minister at Kennesaw State University. They are excited to begin their life together by serving students in Kennesaw.

Lehigh University

Campus Minister Bio:
Scott Mitchell comes to Lehigh from Dallas, Texas, where Scott completed his MDiv from Westminster Theological Seminary (Texas Campus).  After graduating from Texas A&M University with a degree in civil engineering, Scott worked in private practice in Tyler, Texas, until September 2004 when he began to pursue God's calling him into vocational ministry.  While in seminary, Scott continued to work in civil engineering on a part-time basis.  Also during that time, Scott met his wife, Bonnie, in a small group through church, and the two were married in June 2007.  Scott is thrilled to merge his strong engineering background and seminary training to answer the Lord's call on his life in college ministry through RUF at Lehigh.

Louisiana State University (LSU)

Campus Minister Bio:
Josh was born and raised in Greenville, SC.  After attending the University of South Carolina - Spartanburg and Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, Josh accepted a call as RUF Campus Minister at Delta State University in May of 2001.  In June of 2008 he became the RUF Campus Minister at Louisiana State University.

Campus Minister Bio:
Marc earned a ThM from Dallas Theological Seminary and shortly thereafter began serving as the RUF campus minister at Texas Tech for 7 years.  Now, Marc and Amy Corbett are excited about starting RUF in the city of Lynchburg, VA.   Marc loves home remodeling, reading, playing golf, ebay, coffee, discussing theology, hunting/fishing, and laughing with people. But, he and Amy are most excited about their brand new baby girl, Caroline, born in Feb. of '08!

Campus Minister Bio:
Chris "Buck" Rogers is a native of McRae, GA, and attended Mercer University from 1993-1997.  He became a Christian through the Mercer Reformed University Fellowship ministry in 1995.  After graduation, Buck has served as a youth minister, teacher and pastor for over 15 years.  He graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary in 2002 with a Masters of Divinity and was ordained as a PCA teaching elder in 2007.  Buck is married to his college sweetheart Rachel Brown.  They currently live in Macon with their three children, Eli, Rosie, and Sarabelle.

Michigan State

Shawn and Jami were married in 1996 and both grew up in Dallas, Texas. Shawn received a B.A. from Baylor University and a M.Div. from Westminster Seminary, Texas. Jami earned a B.S. in Christian Education from Dallas Baptist University. They are the proud parents of twin daughters Lydia and Naomi born May 2008 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and arrived home January 2009.

Middle Tennessee State University

Campus Minister Bio:
Paul was born and raised in the Atlanta Metro Area.  Paul graduated from Covenant Seminary with an MDIV in 2002 and then moved to Jacksonville, FL to start a new RUF. This is where he met Rachel and they were married soon after.  He and Rachel and their three boys Drew (5/9/04), Josh (6/21/06), and Jake (3/25/08) love being only 2 blocks from MTSU and are very involved in the community of the campus.

Millersville University

Campus Minister Bio:
Rob came to Millersville following his graduation from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, North Caroline.  He's married to Jenny and they have two children, Miram and Gus.  Rob and Jenny love living in Pennsylvania and enjoy exploring the countryside in their spare time.

Mississippi College

Campus Minister Bio:
Joey grew up in Anderson, South Carolina.  He attended high school in Chattanooga, Tennessee at McCallie.  From there he went to Macon, Georgia for college.  It was during his second year at Mercer University that he was converted by God's Spirit thanks, in large part, to Reformed University Fellowship.  After completing his BA he attended Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi, getting his Master's of Divinity. While at seminary Joey had the opportunity to begin a campus work at Mississippi College in nearby Clinton, MS.  While at RTS, Joey married Summer, and they now have three covenant children-Grady, Owen, and Murray.  Joey graduated from RTS in 2001 and was ordained as a teaching elder in the Presbyterian Church in America.  

Mississippi State University

Brian was born and raised in Jackson, MS, and attended Ole Miss
from ’99-’03. After graduation, Brian worked for two years with RUF as an
intern at Auburn.  He married Liza Thompson in the summer of 2005 and
moved to Jackson to attend Reformed Theological Seminary.  While in
seminary, he worked with college students at First Presbyterian Church and
Millsaps College. Their daughter, Shelby, was born in Jackson during the fall
of 2008.  After graduating in the spring of 2009, Brian and Liza moved to
Starkville, MS to work with RUF at Mississippi State University.  Their
second daughter, Annie, was born in October of 2010.

National Autonomous University of Mexico

Campus Minister Bio:
Originally from New Jersey, Peter moved to Texas in 1989 where he finished high school. After graduating from Washington & Lee University with a degree in Psychology in 1996 and from Covenant Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity in 2004, Peter was ordained in the PCA and moved to Mexico City in 2005 to begin an RUF work at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Peter enjoys hanging out at the local café, reading, talking, improving his Spanish, and occasionally getting out on his bike.

Sid was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He attended Davidson College in North Carolina. While at Davidson, Sid became a Christian and met Tere, whom he later married. After three years teaching and coaching at a private school near Washington D.C., he moved to Orlando to attend Reformed Theological Seminary. During his time at R.T.S., he worked in a local Presbyterian church, interned with R.U.F. at University of Central Florida, and graduated with a Master of Divinity degree.

North Carolina State University (NCSU)

Northwestern University

Luke is originally from Columbia, MO. He attended the University of Missouri, where he graduated with a degree in philosophy. After college lived in Kenya for a year, volunteering with various missions organizations. He then directed the student ministries at The Crossing in Columbia, MO for three years. He currently lives in Evanston, IL and is completing the final year of his MDiv at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Luke met his wife, Janet, while guiding backpacking trips in Colorado. They were married in 2007, and have one son, Hudson. 

Oklahoma State University

Daniel is originally from Fort Payne, Alabama and still misses the rivers and canyons of his childhood home. He is both an alumni (2001) and huge fan of Auburn University where he met his beautiful wife Taylor. Taylor is a native Texan from Houston and she enjoys all things ballet and her children. The cute little red-head is Lainey, who loves to sing and play animals. The little man is Gaddis, who is extremely active, sweet, and all boy, and the little button is Harper Elizabeth.  Daniel finished his Masters of Divinity @ Redeemer Theological Seminary in Dallas (formerly Westminster). He enjoys playing Ultimate Frisbee, watching college football, discussing theology, or trying to fleece it out (from “The Office”). Alex is originally from Lookout Mountain, GA and grew up in the Chattanooga area where he attended The McCallie School for boys.  Alex spent 2 years as an Intern with RUF @ Mercer University in Macon, GA.  He then attended Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA where he received an M.Div.  Alex has been married to his wife Becki for 7 years now, they have 3 little boys: Whit, Miles and William Monroe.

Purdue University

Brian Davis was born and raised in Kansas City, MO.  He attended Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth where he developed a borderline unhealthy love of Horned Frog football (2011 Rose Bowl Champions!).  Upon graduation he and Jeanette got married.  They spent the next five years in Texas where Brian attended Westminster Theological Seminary in Dallas (now Redeemer Seminary) and was on staff at Fort Worth Presbyterian Church.  Jeanette taught preschool until the birth of their first son.  They are very excited to be back in the Midwest working with RUF at Purdue University.  They have three sons:  Jack, who loves Toy Story 3, Cars 2, all things BBQ and dessert, Dustin, who is currently into Toy Story 3 and Cars 2, and Samuel, who spends 99% of his time crawling, sleeping and eating.

Campus Minister Bio:
Originally from Dallas, Texas, Billy is the fourth of five boys. After attending the University of Texas at Austin, Billy served for two years as an RUF intern at Auburn University. Billy followed up his time at Auburn by attending Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi while working with college students at First Presbyterian Church and Millsaps College. Before becoming the RUF Campus Minister at Rice, Billy spent three years teaching and coaching at Providence Christian School of Texas in Dallas. In 2001 Billy married the lovely and talented Ashley Joan Knox of Austin, Texas, and they now have three wonderful children, William, Knox, and Jackson.

Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD)

Campus Minister Bio:
Michael grew up in a two-stoplight town in the middle of Georgia. He was first involved with RUF as a student at Mercer University and then as an RUF intern at the University of Alabama.  After attending Covenant Seminary, laboring on a Falcon farm in Wales, teaching in Ghana, waiting tables, and serving as an Associate Pastor in Saint Louis (02-08), Michael is excited to be back with RUF. He is married to Chris Burkley Gordon and they have three children Elliot, Elsa aka "Bug," and Ezra.

Southern Methodist University

Chad and Jada are originally from Tennessee, and first met as college freshmen at the University of Tennessee.  After graduating from college, they remained at UT where Chad directed a local campus ministry for three years.  They then packed their bags and headed to St. Louis, MO, the home of Covenant Theological Seminary, where Chad worked hard to finish his Masters of Divinity and Jada worked harder as an event planner to put food on the table.  Ministering to college students has been a love of Chad and Jada for many years now, and both are excited about the opportunity that the Lord has now given them to serve students at SMU (since January 2007).  In April 2007, their family grew a little (about 7 pounds) with the birth of their first child, John Randall.  In June 2009, Charlie was born.  They youngest son, Carter was born in December 2010.

Stanford University

Britton grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2001. He served as an RUF intern from 2001-2004 at the University of Tennessee where he met his wife Elizabeth. They went to Covenant Seminary from 2004-2007 and during those short three years had Mary Walton (1.10.05), Shelby (1.10.05), Britton (9.20.06), and Katherine (9.20.06). Britton was called to serve as the campus minister for RUF at the University of South Carolina in the summer of 2007. In the summer of 2011 Britton was called by RUF to Stanford University.

Tennessee Technical University (Tennessee Tech)

Jeff grew up in Los Angeles, California, and then moved to rural Arkansas when he was sixteen years old. After high school, he attended Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas, majoring in Religion. Following graduation from Hendrix, he received a Master’s degree in African-American Religious History and Religious Thought from Vanderbilt University's Divinity School. Toward the end of his time at Vanderbilt, God graciously drew him to Himself. After his years in Nashville, he moved to Philadelphia and attended Westminster Theological Seminary. During his time in Philly, he married Cathy Green (July 7, 1991), whom he had met at Vanderbilt, and they had their first daughter, Micah (June 2, 1995).

From June 1996-May 2004, Jeff served at associate pastor to families and youth at Fort Worth Presbyterian Church. From June 2004-July 2008, Jeff served as RUF campus minister at NC State. And from August 2008-present, Jeff is serving at the RUF campus minister at Tennessee Tech University.

Jeff and Cathy have two other children, Asher (June 29, 1997) and Anna Grace (March 1, 2000).

Texas A&M

Campus Minister Bio:
After serving 4 years with RUF at Hinds Community College near Jackson, MS,  Ben and Beth Hailey are now in College Station, TX serving at Texas A&M University.  Ben is a 2004 graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS.  Ben and Beth both attended Delta State University in Cleveland, MS and both grew up in MS.  They have two children. Hannah (8/12/04) and Nathan (9/26/06). Ben enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting and golf.  Beth loves exercise and sewing.

Texas A&M at Corpus Christi

Paul Miller was born and raised in Salisbury, Maryland. After moving to Dallas with his twin brother in 1996 Texas soon began to feel like home. He graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 2002. In 2003 he met his wife, Laura, who grew up in Dallas and is a graduate of The University of Texas (’01) with a degree in Interior Design. Within 10 months they were married! Paul attended Westminster Theological Seminary (Dallas campus) where he earned his Masters of Divinity (’08). In June of 2008 Paul and Laura headed down to south Texas where they began an RUF chapter at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. They have one beautiful baby boy, Jack, who was born August 10, 2009. Paul and Laura enjoy movies, going to the beach, outdoor activities, and playing with Jack and their dog, Mathis. Paul is attempting to learn how to play golf…a great exercise in sanctification!

Texas Christian University (TCU)

Ryan and Laura are most recently from St. Louis (Laura’s hometown). Ryan is from Franklin, TN and went to college at the University of Tennessee. After finishing college, Ryan worked with a high school ministry back in Franklin before moving to St. Louis to do graduate work at Covenant Theological Seminary. While in St. Louis he met Laura and were soon married. Laura went to Davidson College and has a Master’s in Counseling from Covenant as well. Campus Minister Bio:

Steve hails from Van, Texas and is a graduate of Texas Christian University ('96). He and his wife Kelly (Holton) Percifield met as camp counselors at Camp Ozark and have been married for twelve years. Kelly is an Oklahoma girl and graduated from Vanderbilt University ('96) and Texas Christian University, (M.Ed. '02). Steve and Kelly spent the first eight years of married life in Fort Worth, Texas before making the move to Glenside, PA where Steve recently graduated from Westminster Theological Seminary, (May '08). They have five children, Lillian, Connor, Holt, Ella, and Lucy. Steve will be beginning his third year of ministry at Texas Tech University this fall.

Trinity University

Michael serves as the RUF Campus Minister at Trinity University. Michael and his wife, Rachel, are both originally from Memphis, TN. Michael attended the University of Tennessee - the other UT. While Rachel attended Covenant College in Chattanooga, TN. Before moving to Texas, Michael attended Covenant Theological Seminary (MDiv '10) where he studied the Bible, theology, and counseling.

Michael and Rachel have two children, Caleb (born in 2008) and Abigail (born in 2010). They enjoy being outdoors, taking visits to the zoo, watching movies, and finding unique restaurants to enjoy a good meal. Michael also enjoys running, golf, and college football. Will started the RUF ministry at Tulane in 2010 after receiving his Master of Divinity degree from Westminster Theological Seminary in Dallas. Prior to attending seminary, Will worked as a financial analyst in Memphis after graduating from Vanderbilt Business School and Mississippi State University. Will lives in Uptown New Orleans with his wife Michelle and their dog Riley.

United States Airforce Academy

Jimmy and Vicki were married in May 1969 while students at Phillips University; both graduated in May of 1971. Jimmy received his Master of Divinity from Phillips University Graduate Seminary in 1974 and his Doctor of Ministry in 1995 from Reformed Theological Seminary (Orlando). Jimmy's ministry experience includes six years as a pastor and twenty-three years as a staff representative for The Navigators. During his service with The Navigators, he ministered for three years on the campus of Texas Tech University, two years at Oklahoma State University and seventeen years at the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA). To date, his ministry at the Academy spans more than three decades. Jimmy and Vicki have no greater passion than seeing Air Force Academy cadets and graduates grow in their relationship to the Lord Jesus Christ. In his free time, Jimmy enjoys swimming, motorcycles and shooting sports. The Coveys have two adult children and three

Ryan Moore is from Dayton, TN, a small town just North of Chattanooga. He is a graduate of The Baylor School in Chattanooga, The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and Covenant Theological Seminary in St Louis, MO. On May 27, 2006 he married Ada Appling, now Ada Moore, a native of Memphis, TN.  She graduated from Germantown High School in Germantown, TN, Auburn University, and Covenant Theological Seminary. Ryan is an avid fan of just about everything, he loves reading, movies, music, playing guitar, painting, any outdoor activity, any game (backgammon, poker, bocci ball, etc.), listening to talk radio, and the stock market.

Joe is a native of Birmingham.  He grew up in Mountain Brook, went to college at UAB, and then to seminary at Beeson Divinity School at Samford University, where he graduated in 2007.  He married Melissa in the summer of 2005.  She is a nurse at UAB's hospital in the bone-marrow transplant.  They have a black lab, Knox.  He is awesome.

Bryan has been serving with RUF since 2005 with his wife and family.He completed his undergraduate studies (BHK, B.Ed) at the University of Windsor, in Ontario, Canada and his graduate studies, earning a Masters of Divinity in North Carolina, USA at the Reformed Theological Seminary. Bryan loves sports, theology, philosophy, and his wife and 3 girls (13,10, 8). He loves to think about the big questions of life and help students see how there are consequences to these ideas in learning to live a life under God's grace.

Ted Wenger began RUF at Arkansas in 2002.  Previously he served as an Assistant Minister at First Presbyterian Church in Jackson, Mississippi after graduating from Reformed Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree in 1999.  He and his lovely wife Melyna have six rambunctious children.

Heather Sparkman

University of Athens

Stephen and Lesley Maginas are from Georgia.  They've known each other since middle school when they both were at a PCA church in Marietta, GA.  Stephen recently graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary with a master of divinity.  Lesley graduated from nursing school at Georgia College and State University and has been serving as an RN for the last six years.  Both Stephen and Lesley came to know the grace of God in the person and work of Jesus Christ as children.  Through God's sovereign direction, they were approached by RUF and MTW to plant the very first RUF/MTW ministry in Athens, Greece.  They will embark upon this venture as soon as all of their support is raised.

University of California - Berkeley

Campus Minister Bio:

Brent started the RUF campus ministry at Berkeley in the fall of 2006. Prior to RUF, Brent served as an Assistant Pastor at City Church of San Francisco. Originally from Greenville, SC, Brent is a graduate of Furman University and received his Master's of Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary in St Louis, Missouri.  Brent met Katie through RUF while she was working in the RUF administrative office.  They were married in April 2010 and are enjoying life in Berkeley with William (Brent’s son).  Brent, Katie and William love family time, hanging out with students and taking advantage of all that the Bay Area has to offer.

University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA)

In 2004 Joe graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in Finance degree that he would never use. For the next year, Joe worked in real estate (back when this was a good idea) while waiting for Tiffany, the love of his life (and he gets big points for putting this in his bio), to finish up school so they could get married. And they did- June 11, 2005. Next up- seminary at RTS Orlando. Two children, an M.Div, and a M.A. in Counseling later, Joe and his family have moved out to the west coast to minister to UCLA students. He is truly graced by the forbearance of a beautiful and passionate wife in Tiffany, as well as an adorable set of opinionated and energetic children in Taylor and Lydia. And all four of them are excited to be in sunny LA!

Campus Minister Bio:
Jaimeson is a Northern California native.  He grew up in Sunnyvale, CA and did his undergraduate study at the San Jose State University. After teaching and coaching water polo at a private Christian high school, Jaimeson went on to get his Master of Divinity at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.  Jaimeson met his wife Christi as a pastoral intern at Park Cities Presbyterian Church before moving to Santa Barbara to minister to students at UCSB.
