Brian and his wife, Gail, moved to Boise to start RUF at Boise State in 2011. Like everyone else who lives in our fair city, the Freys are proud to be Boiseans, and although Brian & Gail are originally from Georgia & Tennessee, they have two little native Idahoans (Maggie & Owen)! The Freys' favorite pastimes include playing in the foothills, riding their bikes & conquering the local playgrounds.
Brian & Gail are both graduates of the University of Georgia, where they met through their involvement together in RUF and the local church (and lots and lots of frisbee).
Brian is also a graduate of Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia where he received his Masters of Divinity degree in 2011.
If forced to choose a career outside of ministry, Brian would probably work for the City of Boise as the official "tell-everybody-how-great-Boise-is" guy.

Alex grew up in Lookout Mountain Georgia and graduated from the University of Georgia in 2014. She was placed as and intern at Boise State and loved it so much that she is staying on as Staff! You can find her hiking in the Boise foothills, playing spikeball in the parks, or eating at one of the fun restaurants in the city.

Matt recently graduated from Christopher Newport University in Newport News Virginia. While at CNU, he attended RUF and became a part of the Leadership Team. In his free time, Matt enjoys hiking, camping, and sampling craft coffee. Though he is a Virginia Beach Native Matt has always had a love for the mountains and the outdoors. Other than his future ministry in Boise, Matt is most excited to move to Boise for the skiing, hiking, fishing, and all the new coffee shops to experience. In the future, Matt plans to attend seminary and see in which direction the Lord calls him next.
