We are so excited that you are interested in learning more about RUF at Johnson & Wales University. JWU RUF is a place where students can come to ask hard questions, wrestle with their doubts, and hear the Bible taught every week. Please do not hesitate to give me a call or send me an email if you want to hear more about our ministry.

Michael Whitham

Michael Whitham was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma and is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma. While in college, Michael was involved with RUF and spent his summers in camp ministry. He met his wife Anna while studying at OU. Anna enjoys taking care of their daughter Eleanor (2014). Michael graduated with his Masters of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC in May 2013. Following graduation Michael took the call to be the Campus Minister at Johnson & Wales University.

Robert Knuth

Robert grew up along the coast of Virginia Beach, VA where he developed such a love for his native state that he decided to attend Washington and Lee University. Robert graduated from W&L in May of 2014 with a BA in Religion and German...but most importantly, he carried with him a new-found love for the person of Jesus Christ.

He's spent the past two years working as a RUF intern at the University of Georgia, and somewhere in the process, fell head over heels in love for another RUF intern by the name of Katherine Miller. They plan to be wed in August 2016, and shortly thereafter, will move to Charlotte, NC. Robert will enter the Masters of Divinity program at Reformed Theological Seminary, and at the same time, is excited beyond belief to remain on staff with RUF as he forms relationships with college students around the Charlotte area!

When Robert finds free time, he finds any excuse to play the board game "Settlers of Catan" with friends, or especially on nice days, explore new places with Katherine.
