Whether you are committed or just curious, convinced or unconvinced, burned-out or on-fire, RUF at KSU welcomes you to consider the claims of Jesus Christ in community with others at KSU. Whether you are at the Kennesaw campus or Marietta campus, at another local school in the area, or are just a college aged person working in the area, we aim to be a safe place for people coming from all different backgrounds to learn and grow in the gospel of Jesus Christ. We desire for that to take place in the context of a community seeking to love and serve one another as well as the surrounding campus and community. Come check us out!
Though he has lived in many places, Wes claims GA and the Carolinas as his most formative home states while growing up, which helps explain his love for the Braves (woo hoo ATL) and Panthers (sorry ATL). Wes graduated from Davidson College in 2010 and from Reformed Theological Seminary Charlotte in 2013, at which time he came to Kennesaw to serve RUF at KSU. Wes met and started dating his future wife at a 7th grade birthday party. Fortunately he had plenty of time to grow some more before getting married in May of 2009. They have two children, Walker (September 2012) and Pack April (2014).
Prior to coming to Kennesaw Wes served as an intern at Overbrook Presbyterian Church in Gaffney, SC and as an interim campus minister for RUF at Davidson College. Wes was blessed as an undergraduate by the ministry of RUF and hopes to see students likewise blessed through the ministry of RUF at KSU. Wes loves/will play just about any sport though being great at none (except maybe ping pong). Kelly is a nurse and first class mommy and loves to host students at their home to eat cookies and play with their boys.
