Shane Hatfield grew up on a farm in Coweta, OK and graduated from high school in 2000. He attended Oklahoma State University where he was active in his fraternity and a few campus ministries. He graduated with a bachelors in education in 2005 and moved to Tulsa, OK where he worked as a teacher and coach from 2005-2010. Shari and Shane married in 2006 and joined RiverOaks Presbyterian Church. They helped with the youth group and taught Sunday school. In 2010, he left the education field and began working as the youth minister for RiverOaks and taking distance education classes through RTS. In 2014 he graduated with a Masters of Arts and Religion from RTS Global. Shari and Shane have three children, Tucker (2008), Emmarie (2011), and Frances (2014). The Hatfield's proudly call themselves Okies, and they enjoy pretty much every outdoor activity, eating good food, drinking good coffee, and throwing water balloons at each other.
Claire is from the heartland of America, born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. In 2017, she earned a Bachelor of Journalism in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Nebraska. Claire is passionate about great food, great storytelling, and the great outdoors. She’s always down for a dance-off, too. RUF at Nebraska played an integral part of Claire’s story in college, and she’s pumped to continue serving our powerful, faithful, and steadfast God as an intern at OSU.
