Sammy grew up in Sumter, SC, then went off to USC for college where he met his wife, Alyssa. They got married in 2003, then headed to RTS-Charlotte (2003-2006) where Sammy got his M. Div. After finishing seminary they spent 5 years (2006-2011) doing RUF at Georgia Southern in Statesboro, GA. Last July they moved back to Columbia with RUF at USC. They have 4 kids, Jayne Mac, Asher, Eloise, and Sadie. Sammy is a big fan of food in general, donuts in particular, listening to music, books, and watching all of the movies and TV.

Caroline was born and raised in Canton, MS. After high school, Caroline attended Meridian Community College on a tennis scholarship and from there transferred to Belhaven University to play another two years on the tennis court. She graduated in 2017 with a degree in Biblical Studies. Caroline found RUF during her senior year of college. She was immediately drawn to the gospel-centered teaching, great community, and really good snacks. Through RUF, the good news of Jesus was made clearer to Caroline and the way she viewed her life as a follower of Christ changed. In her free time, you can find her taking naps and sipping on coffee (but not at the same time). Caroline is stoked to serve USC's campus!

Daniel was born and raised in Birmingham, AL. He graduated from Mountain Brook High School and attended the University of Alabama. He is a Sacramento Kings basketball fan as well as an avid, unabashed Alabama football fan. While at UA, he was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity where he led Bible study. He graduated with a degree in Marketing in 2016. This coffee critic loves the mountains, music, and most importantly sharing the love of Christ and making his name known.
