RUF at WKU exists to reach students for Christ and equip them to serve the campus and community. God tells us in scripture that we are BOTH fully known and fully loved in Christ, and so we strive to be a community that embodies this truth. All are welcome to RUF no matter what they believe or what they have done to come investigate and be refreshed by the message of God's love in Christ.

Ross was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. He attended Mississippi State University where he received a degree in Communication and, more importantly, met his beautiful wife, Anne Todd. Ross and Anne Todd married in December 2010, and have two boys sons, Bo and Ira. Ross graduated from Covenant Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree in the May 2015. Both Ross and Anne Todd were involved with RUF at Mississippi State and are very excited that God has called them to Western Kentucky University where they can share the good news of King Jesus and proclaim his great love to the students there.
Cathy grew up in Aberdeen, North Carolina and attended East Carolina University where she received a degree in Business with a concentration in Marketing, and a minor in Music. She grew up going to church in her hometown of Aberdeen, North Carolina, but getting involved with RUF allowed her to grow in her faith more than she ever had, and that is why she is so stoked to be a part of sharing the beauty of the Gospel with students at WKU. Cathy loves Cheerwine, coffee, cooking, kayaking, and most of all: her dog, Bear.
