In partnership with Christians and Churches ...

1. We welcome scholars from all nations.

God is sovereign. The LORD appoints the exact times and places where people live. God’s grace commands and transforms Christians into gracious people. Almost 600,000 international scholars now study on American campuses.  They represent the best and brightest from their nations.  They are future world leaders. Many scholars come from places which prohibit or restrict access to the gospel. Internationals want to make friends.  But most are never invited into American homes. Internationals appreciate new friends, language partners, and vocational mentors. Their spouses may be lonely.  International families want recreational opportunities. God has brought the nations to our campuses.  We offer hospitality in Jesus’ Name. Partner with us!  We are your low-cost, highly-relational, local world mission opportunity.

2. We encourage internationals to explore the Way of Jesus Christ.

Internationals are curious about American culture and are open to new ideas. We serve as ambassadors of God’s kingdom, through deeds and words of grace. We answer all who ask the reason for the hope we have - with gentleness and respect. Like the Apostle Paul at Ephesus, we hold regular discussions in academic settings. We first show God’s welcoming love, then invite internationals to investigate the gospel. We partner with Christians for on-campus Bible studies and church international classes. To sample RUF-International Bible Investigative Study guides, visit our Resources page. And why not become a table discussion host, or sponsor a church international class?

3. We equip Christian internationals to become servant-leaders for God’s kingdom.

After international scholars experience God’s welcoming love through Christian friends, many want to investigate the good news of God’s welcoming grace in Jesus Christ. Some become followers of Jesus Christ.  They become citizens of God’s kingdom. Then we equip them to be effective ministers and ambassadors of God’s kingdom. Many will return to their home nations as future leaders in government, academia, industry, and the church. We prepare them to demonstrate and to declare Christ’s glory among the nations.
