Vanderbilt RUF is a student organization that seeks to spread the "gospel" (the good news of Jesus Christ) through ourselves and into the campus by word, deed, and lifestyle. We believe the gospel is what brings about personal change, social healing, and cultural renewal. Everyone is welcome regardless of personal or religious background.
Vanderbilt RUF is here for the "convinced" and the "unconvinced," the lost, the found, the burned, bored, cynical, or spiritual. We invite you no matter where you are in the process.

Chase Daws
Chase and his wife, Holly, are originally from Alabama. They were married in the fall of 2011, and moved to Nashville where Chase served as an RUF Intern at Belmont University. After a stop in Philadelphia for seminary, 2017 took the Daws to Berkeley, California, where he served as RUF campus minister at U.C Berkeley for five years. In June of 2022, they returned to Nashville, where Chase began serving as the campus minister at Vanderbilt University. Over the years, they’ve collected three wonderful boys - Gabe, Bo, and Griffey. They love Warriors basketball, Auburn football, and biscuits.

Morgan Kendrick
Morgan was born in San Diego, California and raised in Wrightwood, a small town in the mountains above Los Angeles. She lived in the Bay Area for nearly 10 years, where she studied Political Science at UC Berkeley. She worked for RUF at Berkeley for 6 years and then moved to Nashville to join the RUF Vandy team January of 2024. She is so excited to explore all that Nashville has to offer alongside Vandy students!

Sam Jones
Sam graduated from Auburn in 2024 with a degree in mechanical engineering, and calls Fort Payne, Alabama, home. He enjoys anything that takes him outside or gets him working with his hands, and especially loves anything that does both. The PCA has played a huge role in growing Sam's relationship with God, both through RUF and several church families, and he is excited to take an active role in fostering the Christian community that has shaped him at Vanderbilt.

Polly Mooney
Polly Mooney grew up in Jackson, Mississippi, and is a 2022 graduate of the University of Mississippi with a degree in Psychology. Before joining RUF, she worked as a nanny and a singer-songwriter in Nashville. Polly loves making music with her husband, Sam, and enjoys reading, knitting, antiquing, and cheering on the Ole Miss Rebels (and now, the Commodores!). She’s excited to walk alongside students and share the love of Christ on campus!

Katherine Noonan
Katherine grew up just south of Denver, Colorado, and graduated from Vanderbilt, where she studied health sciences and Spanish with an interest in physical therapy. She found her home at Vandy RUF where she has seen God working in beautiful and ordinary ways on campus. She is so thankful for how RUF has shaped her college experience, and she is excited to be sticking around for a couple more years! Katherine loves songwriting, hiking, skiing, walking with friends, and pickleball!
