Welcome to CNU! We hope RUF will be a home for you while you are with us. We are a Christian ministry reaching and equipping students to serve Christ and his Church. We care for students and faculty by having: (1) Large Group Meetings, (2) Small Groups, (3) One-on-One Meetings, (4) Fun Events, (5) Ministry Retreats, (6) Counseling, and much much more!
We meet every Tuesday, 7:30PM at the Pope Chapel for our weekly meeting where we get together to heard the Word of God preached, taught, worship, and announcements.
I grew up in Loudoun County, Virginia and graduated from Stone Bridge High School in 2004. I went to CNU, where I was very active in a campus ministry. In 2008 I graduated with a Bachelors in Business Administration (B.S.B.A) from the Luter School of Business.
The first Seminary I attended was Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (SBTS) in Louisville, KY. After a year, I transferred to Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS) in Washington D.C. where I finished my Masters of Divinity (M.Div). While I was at RTS D.C. I joined the pastoral staff of Emmanuel Presbyterian Church in Arlington, VA as a pastoral intern. After 2 years, I joined a second pastoral staff in Leesburg, VA for a 1 year. After 3 years as a pastoral intern, I was hired and ordained as an Assistant Pastor, where I worked as a Youth & Young Adults Pastor for 4 years in Leesburg.
My wife (Alisha) and I were married in Pennsylvania in 2012. We have two children, Jeffrey Jr. (2014) and Lilian Davis (2016). We love to surf, swim, exercise, cook, and do artistic projects together. As fans, we love our local Washington Nationals and Redskins!
Megan grew up in Woodbridge, Virginia as the youngest of three siblings. She graduated from James Madison University in 2020 with a B.A. in History and a minor in Asian Studies. During her years at JMU, Megan was heavily involved in Cru, a campus ministry, which led her to a deeper understanding of the Gospel and what that means for her life. Her time at JMU helped her realize her passion for campus ministry and she is ecstatic that her full time job is all about sharing the Gospel with college students.
Megan's biggest hobby is talking to people and having conversations about theology, life, and everything in between. As an extrovert, Megan loves being around others and will go Black Friday shopping just for the crowds. She loves making new friends over a cup of coffee with a ridiculous amount of dairy-free creamer. She also enjoys reading, listening to music really loud, cuddling cats, and surprisingly enough, grocery shopping.
