RUF meets Wednesday nights at 7pm at Brooks Commons in Cannon Chapel for games, worship, and Bible study. Everyone is welcome, regardless of what you believe.

George Hamm

Campus Minister

George grew up in Birmingham, AL, and studied at Auburn University. He and his wife Laura met at RUF Summer Conference, and have three little girls. George loves exploring Atlanta, eating, walking, playing music, and voicemails. You can call or text him any time, he'd know to get to know you and talk with you about faith, doubt, and life during your years at Emory.

Laura is from the land of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Forest, VA but also has Texas roots. She graduated from The University of Virginia in 2014 with a double major in Middle Eastern Studies and Religious Studies. She has a Masters of Arts in Biblical Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary in Atlanta (2019). Laura and her husband, Weston, love their Atlanta neighborhood. Laura loves reading a good book, rollerblading, and bodysurfing.

Annabelle graduated from Mercer University in 2024 with degrees in Psychology and Religion. Her time spent in RUF gave her a greater understanding of the gospel, taught her about God's character/ love, and provided her with a rich community of fellow believers while at Mercer! Annabelle is now serving as the female intern at Emory University and is eager to meet one-on-one with students, host movie nights, and work alongside George and Laura! She loves college football, the beach, kayaking, and game nights with friends.
