Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) is a campus ministry at MTSU for MTSU. Regardless of your beliefs or doubts, RUF is a community where you can explore who Jesus is and grow in your understanding of what it means to follow him.
Weston was born and raised in Knoxville, TN, and attended the University of Tennessee, where he fell in love with two things: RUF and his wife Hannah, a Nashville native. After graduating from UTK in 2012, the two married and moved to Memphis, TN, where Weston worked as an RUF intern at Rhodes College while Hannah worked as a commercial interior designer. From 2015-2018, Weston and Hannah lived in St. Louis, MO, where Weston attended Covenant Theological seminary. They are excited to be back in the great state of Tennessee, serving in the ministry they love so much.
Josh is from "Almost Heaven" West Virginia. After high school, Josh attended West Virginia University, and he graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering. This is a fancy way of saying one of his favorite words is "efficiency". While in Morgantown, Josh met a girl sitting under a tree by the freshman dorms. He soon found they had chemistry (class) together, but as the old saying goes, "the rest was history." Josh and Meliah were married after their junior year. Besides spending time with Meliah, Josh loves watching Mountaineer sports, hiking, reading, or drinking creamer with some coffee. He is excited to step into the work God has been doing at MTSU.
Meliah is from small town USA; Hundred, West Virginia. Yes, like the number. She got her Bachelor's in Biology, along with a high school teaching certification, from West Virginia University. At WVU, she met her husband, Josh. She was involved with RUF for the three years, from the time it was started at WVU. Meliah loves to spend time singing and playing guitar, watching movies with friends, and beating Josh in any and all games. Having spent a summer working at Dollywood, Meliah has grown to love Tennessee and is excited to get to be a part of the RUF ministry at Middle Tennessee State.
