RUF has been on the campus at Mississippi State for over 35 years. Whether you're taking your fifth-year victory lap or you're a new student, we welcome you to RUF. Reformed University Fellowship is a college ministry with a heart for students and the Gospel. Convinced or unconvinced, RUF is a safe place to explore the claims of the Bible while building relationships with people.

Joe was raised in the Atlanta area as an avid Braves fan. After being converted late in high school, he went off to the University of South Carolina where he graduated in 2011. After college, he interned with RUF at Auburn University for 3 years. During those 3 years, he met and married April, his much better half. After graduating from RTS in Jackson, the Johnsons worked with RUF at Birmingham-Southern College before coming to Mississippi State. They have two kids: Anna (2015) and Sam (2019). The Johnson family loves SEC Football, the Beatles, and BBQ, among other (less important) things.
Anne Michal was born in Mississippi but traded one maroon for another when she moved from Starkville to College Station, Texas at age 8. She stayed in College Station for college, attending Texas A&M University where she majored in Kinesiology and met her husband Grant Carter. She was involved in RUF all four years and is excited to return to Starkville and work with Mississippi State RUF in the fall. Anne Michal loves all things sports but especially Aggie football and Braves baseball. She also enjoys podcasts, naps, reading, and being outside.
Grant is from College Station, Texas and spent his childhood dribbling a basketball and annoying his younger brother. While in college at Texas A&M University, he started going to RUF and later met his spouse, Anne Michal. He is excited to be a part of the RUF at Mississippi State and is looking forward to the southern delicacies that are crawfish and boiled peanuts. Grant is commonly referred to as Mr. Kat and aspires to colonize Mars.
