Welcome to RUF at Northwestern! We are a community at NU that strives to take the gospel seriously without taking ourselves that seriously. Whether you are just exploring Christianity or you are seeking to grow deeper in your faith, RUF is a place for you.

Chris Colquitt is a proud Texan, born and raised in Houston. Before becoming a pastor, Chris worked as an attorney at a law firm in Houston, focusing his practice on mergers & acquisitions and private equity. He is a graduate of Princeton University, the University of Virginia School of Law and Westminster Seminary California. Much more importantly, he is married to Christen, and they have three young children, Margaret, Henry and Beth. Christen is an Austin, TX native and a graduate of Duke University.

Born in Columbus, Georgia, Ben has lived all over the state of Georgia and even spent some of his childhood living in Karaganda, Kazakhstan. While at the University of Georgia, he studied both Statistics and Religion (weird combo, he is aware) and graduated in 2020. Through his involvement with RUF at UGA, he realized his need for God's grace, built lasting friendships, and felt a call towards vocational ministry. He is excited to work with students at Northwestern and is ready (he thinks) to brave the Chicago winter. Ben loves Waffle House, penguins, irrelevant trivia, puns, and throwing his emotional support behind consistently disappointing sports teams.

Maggie was born and raised in Holland, MI where she grew up raising sheep and playing the piano. She graduated from Saint Mary's College in South Bend, IN in 2016 where she studied Political Science, Global Studies, and Sociology. After graduation, she moved to Kampala, Uganda where she spent a year working with International Justice Mission (and also climbed some mountains). Now back from Uganda, she's excited to begin working in ministry with RUF. Some things that make Maggie un-ordinarily happy are: clouds, campfires, and any/all kinds of games.
