Meet Our Team
Indeok Kim
Indeok was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. He graduated with an M.Div. from Hansei University of Gunpo, South Korea, in 2012. While finishing his degree in South Korea, Indeok met his wife, Daeim Choi, at Yoido Full Gospel Church (Seoul, South Korea). When Indeok began his first pastoral ministry as a ministry assistant at Youngsan Full Gospel Church (Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea), he sensed a call to study biblical theology in depth at Dallas Theological Seminary. Indeok and Daeim moved to Dallas, TX, in 2013, and he graduated with his Master of Sacred Theology degree in 2015. With a desire for further seminary training, Indeok has continued his academic training in Old Testament studies at Dallas Theological Seminary.
While pursuing his degree, Indeok continuously thirsted for the Gospel’s truth. Finally, through the Lord’s divine providence, he and his family began attending Park Cities Presbyterian Church (PCPC) in May 2021. The Lord guided Indeok to study the Reformed faith with His irresistible grace. Before becoming a member at PCPC, he joined the RUF-I ministry at Southern Methodist University (SMU) as a volunteer. Every weekend, he has given rides to international students and joined Bible studies at Fee Kennedy’s home (RUF-I Campus Minister at SMU). The more he attended the weekend Bible study, the deeper the Lord touched and transformed Indeok’s life. The Lord called him to serve with RUF-I at the University of Texas, Dallas, to spread God's Word to international students.
Indeok and Daeim have two children: Jayden, who was born in the spring of 2014, and Aileen, who was born in the winter of 2016.
Hailey Tarbell
Hailey grew up in multiple different states, but her family eventually settled down in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She attended The University of Tulsa and received a degree in Speech and Language Pathology. The Lord led her to RUF when she was a freshman and the ministry became an essential part of her college experience. Upon graduating from TU in 2017, she moved to Southern California to start working for RUF at UC Irvine. She worked for RUF in California for 4.5 years and during that time met her wonderful husband, Erik. After getting married in December 2021, Erik and Hailey left SoCal and moved to their new home and community in Fate, TX. She is thrilled to work for RUF-I in Dallas and meet people from all nations and different cultural backgrounds. Hailey and Erik enjoy coffee, reading, being outside, snow sports, exploring various foods and recipes, and spending time with friends and family.
